Hi All!

I agree with Candyfloss, that terrible shooting in Virginia, should make us all sit up and be thankful.

We must all be nice happy chappies here on EOS..................

I am having a happy day today, the painkillers have just kicked in, yipee!!!

AND, I am waiting for my first Tesco home delivery!

Never done it before, just can't drive at the moment and the cats have got really skinny.

Thought it best to get some cat food in and some human stuff too!

I am so excited for it to arrive.......sad or what?!

We have had Tesco home delivery when we go away on holiday several times now and don't go by car but by train and perhaps are a way from the shops and have always had very good service from them.  Did it last week. Sure makes life much easier.

Went to South Wales and had a lovely time. 

Just had call from my grandsons' holiday playcentre asking if I could go and collect the eldest one as not too good.  Crisis over now as my son in law is going to get them.  Think I need another cup of tea now after all that.  Thank goodness back to school on Thursday as the school is right next door to me but the playcentre is a ride away.

Well, the delivery turned up on time and the man even carried it into the kitchen and put it on the table for me!

I am impressed, so will be using this service again!

Saves me petrol and leg work, which I can't do at the moment anyway!

Your reply about the guy carrying the shopping into your kitchen has reminded me of a funny story that used to do the rounds years ago when we had family get togethers about one family member who was not even ill but really lazy.  He asked his wife to pour him out a beer into his glass which she did.  He then asked her to hold the glass up to his mouth.  My mother then asked if perhaps he did not want her to drink it as well for him if that were possible.  Laugh out loud honestly.

We need some laughter on this website so has anybody else got any stories about the laziest person they know and I mean just that really genuinely lazy.

As this is a 'happy every day chat' I just thought I'd write how happy I am to be back in my home in Spain after two weeks in England where the weather was superb...for England.

It is so nice to see the kids and relations but so so nice to be home................happy every day ? well not always but nearly!!

Bad news on the travel front for me, boo hoo!

Rang the Consultant's office today to ask when i could fly again, was told, strictly 12 weeks, no sooner!

Even though it's a short haul flight, promised to wear the Ted Stockings, take an aspirin and get up and move during the flight!

Even promised to cut out the booze on board, but no go..................

Think he was gutted that we had a place in Spain and I didn't invite him!

Still, that now means my other half and i have been web surfing on Monarch and are looking at flights after 19th June.

We have missed the best prices, but hey ho, that's the price you pay for having surgery.............

So maybe JeanSis, our next trip will match up with yours?

Impey, that story did make me smile, I will try to rack my brains for something to post on here about lazy peeps!

KarenSun, glad you got home safe, hope my "tenants" for the next 3 weeks behave themselves..............!!!

Maybe my last post was not a happy every day one!

I told of not being able to fly for 12 weeks, but now I am happy!!!

We have booked our flights!!!!!!

JeanSis, Wish I could have gone sooner, pleaded with the surgeon, but 20th June is the day after my 12 weeks, so had to go with that.
