A question regarding Santa Maria Green Hills. Hypothetically if by chance I found an interested persons to bye this three Bed two Bath apartment without a completion licence. Would this be illegal and would the agent involved be liable for a fine?
The would be buyer would be made fully aware of the missing completion licence, hence the stressed price . Also the buyer would not need a mortgage so the bank is not the issue. As the purchaser would be buying the said property at 80,000€ discount or less than the off plan price of 400,000€ would the Notary sign it over even though all parties are totally aware of the risk of maybe never obtaining a licence . Thank you

I too would like clarification on this as this development like others all over Spain in particular Marbella do not have habitation licences.
Now I have an apartment on this development which was purchased before the habitation licence was such a great issue as the administration silence rule was accepted as the norm for at least 30 years.
Maria has now posted her sum up of the legals as they are now ?
Since the Marbella corruption raised its head around an estimated 50,000 in Marbella are now living and renting properties they have now been told as illegal to do so by Maria.
Probably millions in Spain itself ?
