It's a bit ambiguous, does it mean only actual bookings made after Monday or any travel from Monday regardless of the date of booking?? Hmmm....

Poppyseed, I read it as it's any travel from Monday 11th August, regardless of the date of booking. (I can see why you're saying "It's a bit ambiguous " though).
On 8th August, BBC News said "Ryanair defended its decision to cancel bookings made this way for trips from Monday onwards" then "Passengers whose bookings have been cancelled will be compensated".
too, I guess

Several Spanish travel websites have been adding charges to Ryanair flights which the airline says is against their conditions.
Ryanair has announced that it is to start cancelling flights booked on its services via portal websites in Spain in ten days time.
The airline has said it has contacted the travel booking websites concerned to inform them about their policy.
Sales Director, Sinead Finn said on Thursday in Barcelona that only bookings made through travel websites for travel after August 25 would be cancelled, and that those made through the site’s own website would be unaffected.
Ryanair is returning the money paid to the travel websites concerned so they can pass it on to the traveller concerned, saying they cannot pay the traveller direct as they do not have the data.
Ryanair justifies its action by saying that the travel sites have violated their conditions of use, and increased their prices with ‘hidden costs’. In the case of Atrápalo.com, the extras amount to 10 € a ticket according to Ryan Air.

Hi Poppyseed
Can you tell me... when you copied & pasted the below, did you copy & paste it complete with the photo as I always thought that a photo wouldn't post unless put into photobucket so it is interesting to learn it does show if I copy/paste. Previously I've put any photos into my photbucket which takes time then pasted them into correct area within text. If I copy/paste from an email with photos or graphics it shows as a red cross in a box. Bit confusing. I checked the plane's photos properties & it says
http://www.typicallyspanish.com/spain/uploads/2/ryanairplanes.jpg
so it did come from a 100% copy/paste then, as you said it was from the Typically Spanish site. (Very interesting).
Do you know what I'm rabbitting on about ?

Hi More
I'm a complete technophobe and don't know how to do anything other than copy and paste !! I am amazed with your abilities with the fancy graphics etc and wouldn't have a clue. I rely a lot on my OH and kids to sort anything to do with computers. And no, I have no idea what a photo bucket is !!
Regards

Thanks Poppyseed, you've answered me perfectly. I've been causing work for myself at times.
Re the graphics it's quite easy (really), I've taught lots of members to do it & I tell you, once you start, it's compulsive.
I wrote instructions in our bucket thread which members found relatively easy to follow. The bucket thread sadly hasn't as many posting in there these days that learnt & it's a bit boring at the moment.

Anyone else find the fact that someone else is adding costs to Ryanair flights and Ryanair doesn't like it, funny. Bit like the pot calling the kettle black.

Just been reading tis page on the Ryanair website about the cancellation policy.
There are 2 PDF files on this page. This one is from the EU to Ryanair asking questions. This one is Rynair's reply.
