Try this - much, much easier than messing around with the keyboard!!! : spanish.typeit.org/
Just type, copy and drop into word. Works exactly the same on the Apple.

Yep...I've held down the 'Alt' key and pressed 0241 and I'm not using a Mac. I'll try everything out that you've all advised and get back to you with the results. Many thanks! I am having problems finding web pages at the moment because we're in Germany at the moment (looking after my sister's cat whilst she and her husband are having a great time in Brazil!) and everything keeps coming up Deutch!!!
