Justin, I don't know what happened but when I clicked on your link in the email it came up with 'this page cannot be displayed', (you know the type!) so I came into your blog here & clicked that link & that worked fine.
HOWEVER, I went back to the link in the email & clicked it again & it still showed 'this page cannot be displayed' THEN my PC started going loopy & 50 pages all saying 'this page cannot be opened' came on &, as fast as I clicked one one X to get rid, another up to 50 took its place.
OH had gone out to library so I tried to close all down. I could only close the whole group so I lost what I was working on.
So, what on earth was all that about ?

Today's show takes on a (slightly) more serious note. Justin talks about some of the bargains available to people looking to buy a property in Spain and also looks at how the currect GBP/ EUR exchange rate can benefit those looking to sell their Spanish property. Justin speaks of the CIRCUS AT ESTEPONA

Another good show, Justin. I do wonder though, that although there is an obvious advantage now to selling re the GBP/EUR exchange rate (and maybe other currencies) it's very much dependent on the sale price you reach, considering the very real and immense price drop since many people bought!! So, although the different exchange rate is factored in, is the real drop in price considered?- which we can't really ignore!! Because we all know it's gone south for a while and will continue for a little while.
Just an observation.
(Edited to say: just to let you know, I now watch the videos on the vimeo site as it's taking so long on EOS to download for me, If that helps at all!!) This message was last edited by Pitby on 2/2/2009.

We go shopping to find out which Spanish supermarket is the cheapest
|
In today's show we visit 5 different supermarkets in Spain to buy some essentials. We then compare the prices to see which supermarket offers the best value. However, cheapest isn't always the best! Join us on our shopping trip.

Justin has asked me to post the link rather than show the embedded video of the Siesta shows as, then, it'll mean you can comment on it.
So, here's today's show.
Justin wrote ... Today we visited the dog rescue charity Adana. We spoke to the people helping out there and looked around their facilities.
We were really touched by the work that the volunteers do there looking after 150 dogs that they have rescued.
Please watch the video and find our more about the great work done by the people at Adana.
Click on >>> Adana video
If you are interested in helping Adana out, either as a volunteer or financially, please take a look at their website for more information. www.adana.es
NOTE TO JUSTIN: The link in my email wouldn't work again, it says this page cannot be displayed etc..

Today's show follows on from yesterday's as we chat to the expat volunteers who run the Adana animal rescue centre in Estepona. Today Janet tells us about their plans going forward and the hope that there will never be a need for them in the future. Let's hope so.
