Where in the capital of the north is the xhibition?,...reason being i might come along as will be busy most of the time with inlaws etc!!!...  i know what exhibitions are like so i know what you mean...took me a week to dry out!!!....are you staying in Manchestah??

It was really good to meet Rixxy, Smiley and Juan last night.  What a great bunch of people. 

I like the idea of a "meet up calendar".  Will get working on it and hopefully have it up done for next week.

Justin - it was great to meet you and you arent that fat!!! We could set up eye on spain chapters around the world and I feel most people will be similar in humour and outlook. In Manchester Im meeting with one couple already and possible John - John, at 630 sat Im meeting Miket and partner at the Palace Hotel if you prefer to come along there as well??

Leaving the bar....Now I heard of doing that once but its most frowned upon   Well Am meeting at 630 in the hotel and I know there is a dinner arranged for some of the exhibition organizers and Im involved which i think is around 830. Im staying in the hotel so will be there all the time. If you send me your mobile no I will let you know what mine is gonna be (am buying uk chip) but I reckon in bar from 630 till around 8 - or may not bother getting chenged out of suit and just roll into dinner at 830.

ME ...... a bit of a bloke ........ hmmmm? Well I guess the others would be better judges than I am. Was a great evening and I think we all stayed longer than anticipated - I did feel for Justin though as he seemed to be an interested bystander with little chance of getting a word in edgeways - some constructive conversation and a fair bit of laughter - sorry you missed the pool Just but then Gibraltar is such a shithole that I am sure  you didnt really want to go anyway! Will that provoke a reaction - we will have to wait and see?

Rixxy is a lovely lady - very elegant, great humour and sparkling personality combined with a wealth of knowledge.

Juan is a good bloke too - very down to earth and I have to say that as an estate agent although I have no personal experience of dealing with him he seems very on the level and straight - I imagine that yes, his aim is to sell a property to a client but something you want to buy rather than what he has been told to sell and not to sell at all costs! Good understanding of Brit humour too which is unusual for a Latin - even an Argie!

was a shame in some ways that it was only the four of us (plus Janice in disguise - hope Juan gets the photo loaded - I stood up to go to the bar and she was straight in my chair and nicked my Guinness) but in many respects that was what made it worthwhile - a little more convivial and easier for each of us to speak (except poor Justin - I am sure his eyes were glazing over at one point with boredom).

MikeT - from a post from about 5 pages back - I dont know everything and you very well know that I do not want to come across as a know it all - just that if someone asks a question and I have an opinion (as I do about most things except politics) I will voice it - especially if no-one else answers as so often is the case - have tried not to post on the odd occasion to give someone else the opportunity to have their two pennorth and then get frustrated coz nobody else says anything.

Hope you all have a great time at the Manchester offshoot of the Duquesa chapter of EOS with Rixxy. I am sure  she is a good time gal - although her comment about leaving the bar being frowned on I am not so sure - she seemed very resposnsible last night as we all were and she was hardly breaking the speed limit at all on the way back down the coast road.

You can see Rixxy´s arm "feeding" the spy in order to keep him "well informed" you see, on one side she saids poor little kitty staus at a "hotel" for cats... but sent him in advance to collect information
