What's a 'ticker'?

I've just noticed on the 'Tools thingy that there's something called a Ticker. Can someone please explain what it is?

It's like a News Ticker that you see along the bottom of news channels.

It will open another small window and will then scroll through all the latest posts, articles, blogs, property listings, jobs, etc that are current, however with a bonus, in that you can click on any particular subject and it will take you directly there.

Then, if you navigate away from EOS (why you should want to I don't know, as you should subjugate the rest of eternity to supporting EOS and never, ever, ever navigate away from us, ever!) then the 'ticker' stays on your desktop, and when you see something of interest, click on it.

How do you download it?

Annoyed of the UK, I just hate missing out on anything!...............

Thats strange Fibby, it should work!! It just appears screen width when you click onto it. Maybe your firewall is stopping it?

You off that sunbed now then......what a life eh, I am jealous as hell!

I did get the ticker eventually, but it says "done but with error on page"

So it's there but doesn't do anything, just totally blank ticker!

Yes off the sunbed and actually just in after a coffee on the beach. Still beautiful out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
