Hi

I have a friend who is coming to Vera Playa from Murcia Airport.  They arrive, friend, husband and four year old around 9pm but dont want to hire a car.  So, does anyone know of reasonably priced transport/driver they could use

Many thanks

Try this link, it may not be the price you want to pay but is better than using an unlicensed ´taxi´, http://www.resorthoppa.com/?gclid=COqo4O3T-poCFQUTzAodUAFhdA

Thanks for the link Wetone but it is rather expensive - works out at 540 Euros!!  I think theyre going to have to hire a car.

Sounds like you have got a quote for a dedicated coach. The normal coach service is about €30 each return according to others on Thalassa forum that have used it.

LOL - I did think it was a tad steep   Maybe I'll get another quote and see what comes up this time

Thanks Mark

Nope - just did it again twice and it comes in at 538.76 Euros.  Maybe there's a problem with the website but I will look at the Thalassa forum

Thanks

I would email them and ask as the page is only giving the option of a private transfer and not a shuttle bus. There are a couple more:

http://www.shuttledirect.com/

http://www.a2btransfers.com/

http://www.transferstore.com/

Never tried them, but may offer something better.

With Resorthoppa, from Murcia there has never been a shuttle bus, only the private taxi hire so it has always been far more expensive.

Also, from Almeria to Vera Playa by shuttle the price has more than doubled since last year. It used to be around £22 for a one way transfer but I have just booked one today & it was £50.
