I agree with Robert101.
I have tried to contact both Aldea and the Administrator over the past number of days without success.
E-mails go unanswered, and of late the Aldea phone lines seem to be constantly engaged, (Are they just busy, or have they packed up for the Christmas break, or maybe for good !!!!).
Either way, I decided to transfer my 2008 Wealth Tax money electronically to the usual Aldea Bank account (in La Caixa).
However, my bank confirmation of the transfer suggests that the money was transferred into another bank at a different address than the normal one.
So, I am left thinking, have I wasted my money, when I assumed I was doing the correct thing and paying my 2008 Tax bill before the Dec 31st deadline?. Where has my money gone? Will it ever wing its way to the Spanish Tax office?.
Being at a two thousand mile distance from the action is frustrating.
I also e-mailed a copy of my money transfer data to the Administrator SR. Serrano, but alas, to date no reply - what a surprise !!.,
So, folks, it looks like the jury is out on this one. Not sure what can be done/ascertained unless one is standing in the reception area of Aldea'soffice, banging the desk, and looking for direct answers from Sr. Alfredo, the owner of Aldea.
If I get any further info. I will keep you all posted re develppments.
Regards,
PK

Does anyone know if there is any criminal action already started against them?
Best regards,

Hi AtaCliath and others,
I sent off my tax payment to Aldea's Administrator as requested by them and am awaiting a reply to tell me they received it and also that they have paid the tax on my behalf before the Decemner 31 deadline.
Maria - sound advice to send a 'certified communication' to the court, but why? Sr Serrano is the Administrator and therefore is responsible - not just to the court but to folk like myself - unsecured creditors, for processing this administration.

What next?
Today i visited the Mercantil Court No 1 in Alicante to check my claim against Aldea Assesores in accordance with BOE No 7 Sec IV Pag 1163, dated 8th January 2010.
Which asks creditors to visit the court at their expense and check if name on list and amount, if not correct there is a period in which to object?
In my case the figure is correct.
Does anyone know what happens next in these cases? will there be a creditors meeting? any advice?
Mick

So if we aren't resident in Spain we have to pay someone to do this and are further out of pocket.
To further help us : e-mails sent to the Administrator are now bouncing back so I don't know if he has paid my tax!
Not that he ever answered any e-mails before!
This just gets worse and worse.

For those involved with the insolvency proceedings with Aldea Advsors.... I have received an email today from Aldea In Torrevieja demanding I pay them 1, 062,93 Euros. No explanation of what it is for other than they say I owe them the money. In actual fact, they owe me money. Could this be a scam?
I suspect Aldea's paperwork may be in such chaos they haven't a clue who owes them money and who doesn't. In any case since when have companies in liquidation started to demand money?
Anyone else with any latest news on this?

Well we visited the offices in Torrevieja in November and they were operating as normal. We had paid them in June for our taxes and this had not been paid but they assured us that if we paid again the taxes would be paid. We received last week copies of our form 210 and confirmation that this time everything had been paid as it should. I know it sounds unbelievable that we gave them more money, but they sounded so convincing!! (obviously we didnt give them their fees for doing the forms again!)

Has anyone heard if it is only non-Spanish whose tax has not been passed over by Aldea or have their fraudulent actions been widespread?

Hi folks,
Just a brief follow-up to my last post.
As I mentioned previously, I transferred my 2008 Wealth Tax payment to the Aldea account in La Caixa in Torrevieja.
However, the money ended up in an unknown account elsewhere.
However, it now transpires that the this mysterious account is at the Head Office of La Caixa in Barcelona.
I contacted La Caixa in Torrevieja where the Aldea account is held, only to be told that the electronic transfer is none of their business, and, for reasons of Client confidentiality (Aldea's !!) that I should contact Aldea directly.
When I stated that Aldea no longer take telephone calls, or reply to e-mails, I was politely informed, sorry - no can help!.
So, in my case, I will have to wait until the next time I am Torrevieja to present myself in person to try to get some straight answers as to what is going on.
In the interim, for anyone comtemplating transfering monies electronically to Aldea in Torrevieja, it seems that all monies are destined to go into a special account in H.O. in Barcelona.
I can only assume that this "special" account is some sort of holding account, designated under Court direction, and administered by La Caixa on behalf of the Administrator, pending conclusion of formal Court procedings in relation to Aldea.
So, where we go from here, heaven only knows, but I would appeal to all to keep this thread going and continue to post info. as we try to put the peices of the jigsaw together.
Best wishes for now.

I don't know if it is progress, but at least the e-mails to the administrator are not bouncing back.
He has however still not replied confirming that he has paid my tax.

Aldea Head Office address is:-
Ramon Gallud. 47 1' 1
03180 Torrevieja.
It is situated in the main street on central Torrevieja, close to the main Church Square, and beside an Indian baazar type shop.
The tel.no. is +34-965-704988 (but good luck with that, as they have stopped taking calls since December)
Wil be interested in whatever light you can throw on the current status of Aldea, and what is happening on the ground.
Good luck

At last!! After numerous e-mails and one letter sent by mail I have received a reply from Aldea!
It is a copy of the forms certifying that they have paid my tax.
This of course is the revised tax sent by the Administrator and which I sent a bank transfer and not the original amount which as we all know Aldea stole.
So - keep on trying and let's keep this blog going.
Any more information on whether there will be prosecutions in this fraud?

Well Folks,
Some good news at last.
Having had endless hassle with Aldea over my 2009 Wealth Tax payment, the
matter was concluded satisfactorily recently.
Out of the blue I decided to phone Aldea, got a response instantly, not only that,
but the call was answered by Carmen Rueda (The lady who manages the Wealth Tax payments).
Yep, she says, nonchalantly, your electronic payment was received in Dec ’09, and paid to the Spanish Tax Office the following day.
Gobsmacked, I asked could I have the receipt, por favor!
With 10 minutes, both the official Spanish Wealth Tax receipt for 2009 plus Aldea’s fee receipt were scanned and e-mailed to me. Happy days!.
So, it seems Aldea are alive and well, but I don’t still know what is going on with that company.
Will not be over in Torrevieja until June, so if anyone has more up to date info on what is going on re Aldea, please let us know.
Keep in touch, and Happy Easter to all.
