So when they say that our Title Deeds, Wills and NIE numbers have been handed over to them already, do think think this is not the case?  And if we tell them we do not want them to act for us, will our documents remain where they are, which is presumably with Aldea?

There is an Auto ( Court decission) which seems to have been passed by the Judge in charge of the judicial administration of Aldea on the 2nd of June 2010.  I am asking for it. After revising it, I will be fully able to  say what my opinion is and what options I thnk there are.

Contacted ABC solicitors yesterday on behalf of our clients, who used to be Aldea´s.Still no response. I am asking them for the judicial decission on them receicing Aldea´s files.

We are also contacting our Court Agent before Aldea Judicial administration, but.... welll.... as you all know August is a very difficult month for getting things finalised.

I have also recieved this email, and I replied to it the same day stating that I do not want ABC to act as our fiscal advisor.  I have noticed that a sum of money to the tune of 59 euros has been taken from my bank account -despite the above. I will be in contact with them and will advise EOS of the outcome about them returning my money.

Advice to all check your bank accounts!!!

Have just this minute made contact with ABC by phone, and they stated that I should go to my bank and request that the money be returned to my account.  ABC stated that due to the amount of emails they have received, they probably missed my reply to them - yeah right!  Anyway hopefully a trip to my bank Monday...........................

We to had three payments of 59 euros taken from our bank account without our consent having already turned down their services.  We asked our bank to recall these charges which they have done as well as blocking any further attempts to access our bank account.  Would suggest anybody receiving the original email from them checks their bank account very regularly.

Do you have any idea whatsoever what they could be taking €59 for? Seems odd too that this happened to both of you after telling them that you did not want to use their services! Keeping close eye on our bank account.

I went to the bank on friday and had the 59 Euros credited back to my account.  I have no idea why they took the money.  I have also contacted them again via email and have included the copy of their email that had thanked me for contacting them in the 1st instance, and hoping that they would do business with me in the future (not a chance).  I'll certainly be keeping an eye on my account in the future

Hi Jimbofinn,

Exactly the same happened to me. received 1st email, responded declining their service. Thanked for my speedy response and hoping that I would use their service in the future. Later I received another email to which I replied with my 1st email attached, but still on checking (thanks to your posting) I found they have taken 59 Euros (twice, I presume as our house is in joint names) from our account. Have sent ABC another sharply worded email and ontacted my bank.

Great!

The Administrator of the lawyers who stole our money has handed over all our personal and bank details to a company who have no qualms about dipping in to our account and helping themselves.

It just gets better and better!

A formal request for this to be overturned for all who has suffered this would be necessary

Best regards,

I used Aldeas as solicitor when I bought my place.

I never got round to getting the deeds which I presume were held in Cartagena.

I did have some contact with Torrevieja.

Any one know what I should do to get hold of my deeds?

I got mine by appointing another solicitor - Spanish, but English based - to get these from the Spanish equivalent of the Land Registry.

 Thanks for the advice.

I have just been in contact with a solicitor in Spain about something else and I mentioned this.

I guess this is a further copy of your deeds.

I should have got onto this a long time ago but it is one of those things that just slipped.

Really dumb since we are 15 minutes from Torrevieja.

As the deeds are only copies is it not possible to get a copy from the Notary's office where you completed?

I have es copia simple. i got this at completion but I don't think this is the final copy.

I will no doubt find out but the impression I have is there is another copy with details about the quota my complex has within the resort the complex is on.

I will for sure find out from these solicitors but I want to have the proper thing or else I might have a problem at some point.

Has anyone heard anything recently regarding the insolvency process with Aldea?

They were given 3 years in January 2011 to finalise everything and "promised" to settle all debts then.

We are a creditor and have heard nothing. Surely the Court should be forcing the issue now, but then again this is Spain!

Just consulted official sources and creditors agreement was approved in 2011. Ask your legal representatives for updated information.
