Many months ago I decided to take up an offer promoted by Hits Mobile of a total inclusive, pay as you go package. You simply charge your phone with 45 euros plus vat of credit and send a text with the promotion code. The package was activate and had unlimited calls!
It is not a contract and every month I get a text telling me I must top-up with credit before 15th at 11.30am which I have been doing for over 12 months.
Yesterday I received a message to say I was out of credit, strange I thought so I called hits to be told the package I purchased is no longer valid, "I have your unlimited package" I said.
"Yes you do but it is now limited", was the reply, as this is not a contract Hits are able to change the deal when ever they like and not inform customers. i still have a message every month telling me to to-pup credit for my all inclusive unlimited package however the package does not exist.
The customer service team will not forward my calls to a manager and refused to discuss the matter only saying they changed the deal and that is that, "you signed no contract so we can do what we want"!
So beware on the deals which look too good to be true as they are too good to be true.
