purchase of new 3 bedroom appt

Hi first go at this..some great info here..im due to complete next month on mar menor 11..made all the payments..ive just been made redundant and ive written to polaris if i can downsize and put all my monies paid into a smaller appt...has anyone got any advice..thanks Carl

Hi Carl, welcome to Eye on Spain.

You really are at the mercy of Polaris on this one I think.  You are contracted to buy the apartment that you signed the contract for.  They don't have to downsize you if they don't want to.

Have you had any response from the yet?

Are you still able to obtain a mortgage? If you are not, there is room for cancellation and therefore there is room for a new deal and a new property.

Under those circumnstances, you have got rights for contract cancellation and refund of 100% of money paid.

hi maria..thats great news..you have replied to my personal e mail..ref c campbell..are you saying that because i cant get a mortgage..as ive just been made redundant..remembering that all my previous instalments were cash..that im entitled to a full refund..if so whats the next steps..ive yet too hear back from polaris...
