Yes, that's 31ºC inside the office!  Outside it's like having a permanent hairdryer in your face.

This is NOT nice heat.  Thank God we have AC at home or else we'd all be dieing.  The streets are really quiet today, everyone is locked indoors trying to keep cool.

No AC in the office so will need to sweat it out a little longer today!

I haven't posted much over the past few weeks.  I've been so busy with several priojects that I haven't stopped all summer.

The summer is now nearly over so I assume most people will back home soon.  July seemed quite quiet around here in terms of tourists but it picked up in early August, but it's still not felt as busy as in previous years.  Hopefully there's been enough trade for the local businesses to get a bit of a boost after a very slow start to the year.

We went on a break to Italy for a few days which was truly amazing.  We went to Bologna, Modena, Pisa, Florence and Venice...in five days!  It wasn't so much of a break, more of an (exhausting) experience.

Being a total car nut we managed to get time to visit the Ferrari museum and the Ferrari restaurant, Ristorante Cavalino.  The food there was truly stunning and what an amazing place.  You MUST go there if you are ever in the area.

The highlight for me was visiting the Lamborghini museum, a childhood dream, and I saw the car of my dreams.  The original Lamborghini Countach.  Just look at it...

And that was launched back in 1971.  Imagine seeing that nearly 40 years ago.  Amazing.

Anyway, hope you've had a good summer too.
