Just to let you know that Jacqui and I at www.almerimar24.com organise a regular Friday team golf competition throughout the year at Almerimar. You pay your own green fee and then pay 5 euros in the kitty. Everyone wins a bottle of something and the last place team win a small bottle of wine and some chocolates each.

All you need to do is put your name and official handicap on the list on the board just outside the pro shop or email us at info@almerimar24.com before 5.00pm on Thursday to be included in the competition the next day.

In the summer we tend to have 10-16 people take part but over the winter we normally have between 30-40 people. The maximum we had last winter was 64 people.

So if you spot a couple of people wandering around Mercadona on a Thursday evening with blue Tesco wine carrier bags you know who it is. Feel free to stop us and say hello.
