Animal Cruelty

hello eveyone,
                         weve just been informed by our solicitor that the first occupation licence
                         had been granted on the 25/06/08 with a view to complete at the end  of
                         august. my question is do i have to complete at that time or can i postpone
                         completion until the end of november,which would be much better for us.

I seem to remember our solicitor told us we have up to a maximum of two months to complete, presumably after granting the habitation licence.  Can anyone confirm please ?
