Hi Everyone at Mirador..

We Just wanted to announce a new member that will be visiting Mirador. 

Danny & I have become  Proud Grandparents for the second time. 

Alfie John Daniel ..was born at 11.55am. yesterday. ..weighing just 4lbs 15 oz. 

There were some problems for both mum and baby.... But Thankfully they are doing well today..  and we look forward to seeing him for the first time. 

I am sure they will  really enjoy a holiday in the sun at Granny's ....along with big sister Evie ..as soon as  they are able.

Congratulations Carol & Danny and Sam & Sarah, the proud parents.  Very pleased for you, but somehow I don't think your family is complete just yet!

Poor little Evie has chickenpox we hope she gets better very soon to be able to visit her new little brother.

Congratulations on the arrival of baby Alfie.  Hope was a dinky baby too but it is amazing how they put the weight on - she is now bigger than her brother (much too his disgust).  

Sorry to read Evie has chickenpox :0(  Hope she gets better soon.

For all your wonderful greetings. We have been able to visit tonight and see Alfie for the first time. He is very tiny..but looks well .and managed to make a few noises for us in protest..as we kept taking his picture.  

Mum Sarah is recovering from a very bad time of things.. but looking extremely well in spite of it all. 
For which we are eternally  grateful.

Evie is holding her own with the chickenpox ..we have a doctors visit in the morning..as her eyes are very sore & swollen.  

Thanks for the words of encouragement Louise...regarding size doesn't matter. We have great faith. Our Evie was  very special as well.. She was born with a massive hole in her heart..and only weighed 12 lbs at a year old. She never sat up until past 18 months. But she was determined to beat the odds.and underwent open heart surgery.  Survived,,,and now is doing all the things other kids can do. She will celebrate her 5th birthday in 3 weeks...and wants a trampolene!

Poor Evie has certainly been through the mill, what a worrying time you must have all had.  Glad to read she is doing well now and hopefully trips to Spain will concide at somepoint as I have two ready made playmates for her!!

Hi Louise,

Our Evie...(full name Evie " Louise"..)...would love to meet your twins.  They will have a wonderful time. I keep telling her about Spain..and the park across the road..the swimming pool and the 2 goats. All the fun she will have. I so look forward to it.

btw..As well as my son Sam..(Evies' dad).. I also have identical twin daughters..they are 23 now.  You will see them around as well hopefully. We plan to make Mirador home for Dan & Me..as soon as we can sell our house. Not too easy in todays' market... but we keep hoping. We look forward to meeting up very soon. Hope the family are well.
