Hi I live at Roda Golf permanently on Phase 2.  I was wondering if anyone would be interested in learning a little Spanish whilst here?  Finding it hard to contact people.  A community noticeboard is definately needed I think.  I can teach Adults or children.  I offer a babysitting service too. Feel free to get in touch if interested.  I am English by the way!

I think this s a great idea we are only over for a week in the summer so dont know how much spare time we will have

We also think this is a good idea. We tried learning Spanish in the evenings at a uni course. When the weather was bad we didn't want to leave our house! We passed but feel we've forgotten most of it.

I agree too that some sort of community notice board would be an excellent idea not only for advertising various services on offer but also for organising groups of like minded people wanting to participate in golf, tennis (when available ), bridge clubs etc etc.

Perhaps if others feel the same way they could suggest the idea at Customer services when you are over.

Hugh Man - I am so excited - do you play bridge?  There is a local duplicate club which meets at the Costa Narejos - if you want the contact email for the organisers let me know (boy that took some finding!).  But it would be great if we could get a club going at Roda!  We have played there once but have never had the time to visit again but we had a very enjoyable multicultural evening of bridge!

Also, we could suggest to the Presidente's of the Phases 1 and 2 that perhaps a community noticeboard in the Post box area would be a good idea - at least everyone goes there at some point to rescue post!  I will do an email to our President on that very subject.
