Hi All,

Just a quick note to all who know me to say that I have managed to get a medical retirement.  The upshot wil be that Marion and I will be moving over as permanent residents as soon as we can.

It will probably take until early in the new year to get all our odds and ends in Ireland sorted out but we are really looking forward to a permanent life in the sun.

All being well the roundabout might be finished by the time we move!

Good News....you will be lucky though on the roundabout front....anyone any further news on this?

We suspect that the La Canada Promoter's Technical Department think that the roundabout has already been built (A virtual roundabout???).

This is because they are now able to investigate snagging faults and diagnose them without even visiting the villa and looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this is how they dealt with the problem we had when our bathroom door mechanism jammed with someone inside the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not aware that we have been given a new (VIRTUAL) completion date for the roundabout as in February 2008 it was going to be April 2008 then in April 2008 it was going to be June 2008 and if they are supposed to be off site and finished by September then the most logical completion date for the roundabout will be "THE 12th OF NEVER" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pleased to read your news!  You may remember my husband Bob and I = we came to your party on your solarium at the beginning of this month with Chris & Carole.  We are round the corner at 111.
