Carol & Ian will not be able to attend the meeting next week as we have to work back in UK. One or both of us would expect to come out for the meeting in February. Wondered if you could email me direct as I have a couple of documents passed on from an owner on Quara's PAU 8 development in Villamartin who having the same forced on them. They contain useful information. We are concerned that Quara are pushing setting up the Community before they have actually completed the "community areas" this includes the access roads between the villas, the main roads on and around the development and of course the direct access to Campoamor to San Miguel main road (CV941?).  The small square covers in roadway by Water & Elictric point are not strong enough to take being driven over or parked on. The one across from our villa Number 13 is impossible for the owners opposite to avoid when driving in or out of their "driveway" and was broken twice in the week we were there. Heavy duty covers are required. Also sewer manholes covers are not fitted properly which is more of a problem in the summer. The safety railings on the walls between the rows of villas has not been fitted and represents a serious danger for children playing in the gardens and adults who have relaxed too much sampling Rioja or other beverages.

Our concerns are that if these matters are not completed satisfactorily by Quara before setting up the community then we as residents could be saddled with paying for these things to be brought up to an acceptable standard before the Town hall will accept the transfer of responsibilities to them for roads and services. We may be being distrustful but we feel that this may be exactly why Quara is pushing for this. In addition if they still have a large enough percentage of properties in their control they can effectively force things through and onto the constitution which we understand is very, very difficult to change afterwards !!!!
