hi all,
yes pictures ofclub house look great but has any one got any dates for them to start and finish it ? also has anyone got any further new on how the golf course is coming along, any expected dates for this to open ?

Don are these photo's from a website or direct from Polaris? as i'm sure I have seen them before on a website.
If that's the case I think they may be before they resubmitted planning for the 2nd time because looking at the Conado masterplan the clubhouse is a long way away from the lake not like in these sketches.
Hope I'm wrong as it looks great!!

It really is looking very special - I know PW keep moving the goalposts but their reputation could depend on this.
The signature course is the focal point of the whole complex and when the 1st/2nd/3rd phases are done and they promote their vision the course and the clubhouse will be the jewel in the crown!
They have to deliver on these 2 or their plan to sell 20,000 homes in the future is a non starter.

Hi,
Not only what you say Barry, but there is talk about bringing the Rider Cup to Condado so the facilities in the Clubhouse need to second to none as well as the golf course if this tournament is to stand a chance of even being considered. So if they are planning on changing it I would like to think it would be for the better. Do you think Jack Nicklaus will have had a say in the design of the clubhouse?

Don't think so Alison but I think you agree it is really important to get this right!
Perhaps the Ryder Cup has been mentioned to stir up interest (as was Disneyworld Spain) but the set up is ideal for a big tournament.
If this did happen would you rent your penthouse out for a fortune or sit on your terrace overlooking one of the most striking par
3's on the course and smile for the tele?

Danseex, these pics are from a pdf file from a cd I was "given" when we were in Polaris head office in February. I cant recall ever seeing them on any website though.
