Hi Alison
Thanks for that as I am looking to fit a shoppong trip in, and had that date as an option. Do you know if or what furniture stores would be open weekends? Do they open late? Dont expect their opening times to mirror ours eg Sundays

Thanks for that Alison, we were going to book an appointment with our solicitors on that day to sort out the wills. So it means Sunday and Monday are looking like 2 lost days for us to do our shopping. Might as well just relax by the pool and go to the bar later.

Morning,
Started this reply in the morning but got a surprise visitor at my door, sorry for the delay. Unable to answer your questions, we were only advised of the holiday as we were trying to make an appointment with Sol bank. I will email PW tommorow to see if they can give me a list of forthcoming holidays and maybe then we can plan visiting trips accordingly.

Hi Folks 
Just a quick update. Emma Beechy has adviced that the 13th October is known as Spains National Day therefore most things may be closed. Emailing individuals to find out if they are opened/closed may be the answer. Ikea in this country is open on bank holidays but will that apply in Spain? Who knows
