Hi All
After reading the thread ' Friends for our girls' just an idea, but would it be worth making a list of who will be out and when next year so that the children will know whether they will have other children of similar age around at the same time. That would mean that we could give adequate notice to Shampers for the babysitting.

Hi Lisa, great idea. I have a 12 (soon to be 13) yr old boy. Will be out with him over Christmas and have just booked up for a few days in Feb half term (16th - 20th Feb).

Hi Lisa ,
I was just thinking about the same idea except I thought we could give them their own site for them all to chat amongst each other. This way the ice is broken before they go over and we will not get the usual response "it will be boring" "Idon't know anyone" "They'll all be freaks" and so on and so on. Kids who'd have them?!!!

Hi Ted,
Glad you like the idea. If enough parents are interested then maybe we could set something up. What's your son's name by the way?
Lisa
Hi Alison,
That sounds a great idea about the kids having their own site. Could be really good for the older ones who spend a lot of time on the computer (MSN-ing and all that). What about the younger ones though? Any thoughts??
I know, you set up the website for the teens and i'll compile a list for the tweenies. Glad we got that sorted!! Only joking.

Hi Lisa, My son is James
Margaret - mine is 3 years younger than your son, but we will be out In Feb, but will miss you at Christmas as we come back before 28th.
Alison - amount of time mine spends on the pc, think the site is a great idea - weprobably need one of the youngsters to set it up though - they are probably far more computer literate than us adults!!

Yes I will be out from 25th Oct for a few days then I head up to Torreveja as I have 2 do the wills with the solicitors, so I wont be around on halloween night, but would love to meet up with you. Hope the weather is better than Ireland.

Great idea about trying to get the kids together.
We will be out there mid term break (Ireland) 25th October - 1st November, hopefully some time over Christmas, Easter next year and all the summer school holidays next year too!
Our boy is 8 and is mad into making new friends - he loves the pool, playing football, tennis and is hoping to get started playing golf soon. Hope to get bikes as well when we get out there next summer.
Hes also a whiz on the old laptop!

Great to hear there will be more people around the weeks we are out from 25th Oct, and Feb 22-28, as we were noticing that our Belgian school holidays are not the same time as most of yours. Forgot it was Halloween when we are over, need to get the kids together to go guising, or as they say in Scotland "Galoshin". Although our two girls, Holly 15 and Kirsty 11, are getting a bit big for all that!! Looking forward to meeting you all!
