This may be my 1st post, but trust me, I have been part of this whole debackle from the outset and have a marriage and 2 kids to prove it, it's been that long!
Given that we had no BG in place for our ACC property (although we thought we did) and therefore the prospect of getting money back was slim to none, we have recently been trying to take what appeared to be the safer option and purchase a property at MCC - at least we would have a property, if not just to sell, and given there are people living there already then at least it exists! After many weeks of silence, and me sending rather more blunt emails to my solicitor, I received the following reply today:
"The legal paperwork of the property in Mazarron is not acceptable at the moment. The construction of the house is not registred, only the plot is registred and also the plot is charged with four diferents banks mortgages of 955.000 Eu each one ( ! ). That means that HUMA has to cancel this mortgages before they can sell the property to you, and I have really doubts that HUMA has or can get funds to cancel this mortgages....... I advise you to take legal action asap".
Are the people living there sitting with this little bomshell over their heads???!
I don't think I can really take much more as everything now is just one crushing blow after another for myself and my husband (and our very young family).
Does anyone have any more information on MCC which might contradict what my solicitor has said?
If not, can anyone say at all that there is a definite chance of getting money back if I take them to court without a BG?
A very sad and tired Sarah....
