Building guarantee

Hi 

Have any of you received your 10 year building guarentee on completion, we completed on Friday and forgot to ask about this , also have any of you had a problem with your banks accepting the Zurich insurance documents , ours the the Halifax would not accept the Polaris /Zurich policy , because they said the information stated re the address was not correct, we could not see why , so we had to accept the policy they had brought with them amazingly from Zurich Insurance ,so at the moment we have 2 insurances, just another little thing to sort.
Still just glad we have now signed for the property, lets hope all the stress was worth it.

Welcome to the forum, glad you have completed hope your property is everything you hope it will be good luck.

I haven’t completed yet so don’t know about issuing of the 10 year building guarantee, but I am sure someone will be able to provide some info on this.

Can I ask how much you had to pay for Halifax insurance and have they agreed to cancel and refund any or all of the payment when you have the corrections made to the address in the Polaris insurance?
