Hello all you El Rincon buyers.

I hear there are some probs getting your licence of habitation. I feel for you all and see that some of you have had wasted trips over hoping to get your keys. This is just a blip, be patient, it will happen, but I know it must be so annoying.

Anyway, I am offering to take photos or answer questions again on the rpogess of your development.

We are going to our apartment in La Mirada (adjacent to EL Rincon), on 17th March, so let me know what you would like me to do. I have internet access there, so can be in touch daily.

The walkway looks brilliant doesn't it!

Shame that there are no access points from the edges of the beaches though, I would have thought some steps and gaps in the railings here and there would have been good.

Thank you for posting these, we are in La Mirada, near El Rincon, so this is very interesting for us too!

Absolutely fantastic, thank you very much for taking the time to take and post the photos, you even managed to get one of our apartment. We can just imagine watching our son playing in the pool (by the accounts of some still waiting to complete on phase 1 this might happen by the summer). On a cold, wet, miserable night in Newcastle this has warmed me up no end.

We are going out this Saturday for a week, sign the will and NEI NUMBER.

We of course will be finding out as much as we can regarding ongoing problems.

We are Phase 2, so we are hoping there will not be as many problems.Fingers crossed.

Has anybody got any news on phase 1 completion dates? We have heard nothing despite chasing our solicitors and Parador. We are also hoping all is sorted before easter. We had just booked our flights for an easter break two hours before we were notified that the original signings were cancelled.

As everbody knows information is very difficult to get.

However I escalated this to Catherine Lineham at Parador and they eventually were able to confirm that the Habitation inspection was completed at the end of  January.  So we are only waiting for the certificate which we believe will only be issued after 28th February when officials have completed work relating to forthcoming local elections.  We were due to complete on phase one on the 15th February and had to cancel  our flights.  All in all this is a very frustrating time and we just hope we can get in before Easter.

Hope this bit of information helps someone.

We are in this project for the next 3 years we were about to take ownership on or around the 15th Feb 07 (we have bought in Phase1 of El Rincon), however like most others we have had this date put back with no alternative date in place as yet, however we have been told that once a date has been set it will all be done and dusted withing 2 weeks.  We have been in the El Rincon loop for almost 2 years now and it has been ok until we moved into 2007, however we are sure this is its just a blip and we will be able to take ownership very soon.  We were out in Oct last year and phas2 was looking good, however the backend of phase 2 looked like it needed a lot of work doing on it to bring it upto the finished standard of phase1.  We have posted our latest photos taken in Oct 06 of Phas1+2

 If anybody manages to sign over the next few weeks will you post the cost of transfering the water and electric from builders supply as we were charged €1000 and looking on the utilities thread it seems a lot.

We were also charged € 1000 by Gomendio when we took over our apartment in La Entrada, Punta Prima last year. I think everybody is charged the same.

        WOW So many people let down by this delay in obtaining the Habitation licence, we like many others went out in February 2007, after confirming with Gomendio and our lawyer that we wre to sign and collect our keys!!!! HAHAHAHA Stop laughing.   Yes you guessed it, what a waste of time and money. We agreed to purchase this apartment in Oct 2004, and been out there regularly to see the progress, and were very impressed with the building etc. But after being told that it was due to be completed approx. Nov. 2006, lo and behold, here we are in March 2007 still waiting. We have sent many e-mails to both the agent and our lawyer but we seem to be the ones doing all the chasing up, and trying to get information on the possibility of completion.

          We are going out again from 15th to 20th March, and have a meeting with lawyer, so will inform you all of any news. We just hope to get some great news because we have started to buy furniture for the apartment.  On our last visit we bought 2 single beds and table & chairs, thinking they would be in our apartment, but thankfully we have met, over time, some lovely friends who live on the La Calma complex, and are storing these for us.

       Like many others, we have family & friends booked for their holidays at the end of April & early May, so we are getting very angry, frustrated and worried by this delay on completion.

we have just arrived back after a week in the area of el Rincon

Habitation licence is the problem as most of us realise now,we spoke to a lovely couple who have moved in,....Phase 1, they have bought two properties, one to live in and one to rent out. One has the Turistico Licence and one does not. they have moved into the one with the Turistico , but have not been able to sign for the one without. They know of another couple who have sold everything in the UK to move out and are having to rent in Villa Martin while awaiting a date to sign. So if you have a Turistico you should be in.

Is it to do with the Elections ???   Turistico are in,  the rest are still waiting!!

Anyway  we are Phase2 and it is lookig GOOD. The pool is full, the whicker fencing is been attached to the wire fence, the soil around the pool is been made ready for grass sead, and we saw several apartments with cleaners in .....moping floors.

See new photos taken Thursday this week. the weather was great, 27-28 degrees all week.
