Hi All,
I had to get a new computer. So what you may ask? Well it has been a journey in futility in trying to get back on line. Oh yes I had a mode M but had to get the drivers from my internet company and then it turned out not to be compatable! AAHH Then I went to get a new router/ mode M and configuring it whe nthe Pc kept on wanting to go on line was vexing. Called my internet company and they said " we donot support that make" AHHH!
Took it back but contacted a local It company and was told it would work, went back bought it and took it plus my pc into the IT chap. He took 1 hour to configur it, excellent I thought. Took it home and found a cable missing, went into the shop I got it from. Oh they said we sold you the wrong one. AAAHHH.
So back there to night get the right one, get it configured tomorrow and who knows it might work.
Nice to know that life is so simple

Hi All
I believe that this was a strss relief strand about computing a bit of a fun outlet.
anyway I know what is wrong evey electronic machine is fitted with a stress monitor which under normal circumstance sits in the background doing nothing but monitoring your stress levels as soon as it sees your levels rising it kicks into action and makes the system play up and the more you stress about it the more problems it throws at you. So in the end you have to go and by another one it is there to make sure the manufactures get repeat buiness from us. there problem solved.

Atleast you got some form of customer service from these IT companies more than can be said of SJ / HdT .Did said IT company offer any form of compensation for your trouble Lunchoen vouchers perhaps !

Not sure if i prefer lap tops or lap dancers
I need a new one anyway....mine is all of a sudden out of date, but only 15 months old....

Hi Guys and Gals,
It is very scary how we all rely on these extreamly fast and smart peices of electronics when they are actually very stupid as for their life expectancey it is so short that we over here in UK buy machines that are already out for date processor wise any way off to bed now
Hope you all keep well over night and the next few weeks lets just try and get on for that time as we are all in the lap of the gods

No,
Nor did he do in a well known Australian TV presenter. It is a high definition DVD medium and despite my sceptisism it is really very good.
However, I am not too sure as to how it would handle blue films?
