It is reported that the directors of a development company, who were arrested in Alicante airport, preparing to leave for Morocco on a private jet. The same directors that face fraud charges which it is claimed could be in excess of 16m€, have been granted bail.
To stop them skipping the Country , bail was set at 40K to 60K €

Perhaps the judge was promised a house, on a golf course somewhere.

Somewhere where the house will definately get built and the builder is trustworthy........................then again it would have to be somewhere other than Spain one feels................lol.........morroco perhaps?

Do you mean Riviera Coast Invest, which was mainly an investment company, promising 6% return on development projects, including homes for Murcia students?  I think this is something that San Jose can't be blamed for.......!

Sue, who said or claimed it was anything to do with San Jose. Must all comments be limited to San Jose and no other examples, or news items given on here?
Am I breaking some rule here which I am unaware of?

I can see Sue's point. As this was on the Jumilla forum I thought it related to SJ I don't post much but read all that is here and I want money back Dave

OK, consider my wrist slapped for being such a naughty person in posting something which others may think was linking to the wonderfull SJ who have looked after all purchasers interests to date and also trying their best to make sure everyone gets their houses in the future.
Perhaps that is the type of thing some may wish us to believe, I was merely pointing out what property people can and may get up to when and if pushed.
I am certain that such a reputable company as SJ, or its directors would never consider trying to remove their customers hard earned money from the safe keeping of a dedicated bank account for deposits, let alone take money overseas, but it does go on by others, as the news item reports.
So, is the moral never look, read or learn from anything that isn't relevant to SJ?
What about the alleged potential investors. Is one barred from mentioning them as they are not part of SJ, nor of the development at SADM.
Remember the football clum, that was nothing to do with Jumilla, but had a bearing on what was going on.
Don't seem to recall complaints about those comments.
I cannot edit or remove the posting, so as if annoys, offends, upsets some, you may wish to request it be removed.
May I sincerely appologise for upsetting or annoying people by posting the news item  True to form. If it is factual and news, maybe not welcomed.

FIN

I wasn't trying to slap your wrist - I thought that by using an exclamation mark and a smiley it was clear that I was making a light-hearted comment.  Also, I have read about this in local papers as I live in Spain, however I thought that people in the UK might not have known that this was referring to a different company, given that the focus of this thread is SADM and therefore by definition San Jose (Herrada del Tollo to be precise.)  I wasn't suggesting that we have to be too restrictive on this forum, but thought it needed some clarification.

If I was going to make any complaint (which my comment below wasn't intended to be) it would be about the reply to my post about local people on low incomes.  The suggestion seemed to be that I have low standards when it comes to my neighbours, whereas I have high standards, but they are not related to people's income levels more to do with their behaviour!

I welcome any news and facts, as I believe it is better to be well-informed than ignorant.  The only thing I have problems with on this forum is people being unnecessarily nasty and rude to each other.  It should be possible to argue with somebody without insulting them, and I think we should be able to disagree with each other on this forum, so long as we take care with how we word things.  I am a great believer in free speech, but I also believe in showing each other respect.

End of lecture!

Sue

malcolm and linda, I for one know exactly how you feel. I believe all my postings have been factual or opinions based on facts, evidence or statistics and in some instances news items, which this one was.
But often, stating facts gets a fairly negative response followed by the tribal attitude of I agree with you and not him or her.
Every name under the sun, yes that also, including abusive PMs.
I must admit it does make me smil when some criticise comments, bearing in ming what garbage can be read on some of the threads, much hearsay and much wishful thinking.
Long live facts and never be afraid to post them, despite what you may be called.
Sue. It was not your response which I commented on.

You will be pleased to know that what ever you have ever posted is not going to make a scrap of difference to me or the eventual outcome of the same situation we are ALL in.  I doubt that of the 153 postings you have made that any of them have been remembered by me as being helpful and more to the point been very nice at all to read.

My Gran used to say to me 'if you havent got anything nice to say then dont say anything at all'  I am afraid you have managed to make me do just that.

Have a truly nice life. Are you a Friend in Need ?  I dont think so. Just take this one on the chin because you did say 'long live the facts'.  Oh in a strange sort of way this has made me feel a lot lot better so thanks for that.  Roll on posting number 154 and a few more horrible things to read.  By the way i wont be sending any nasty PM's just in case you think I might.

Not a long posting but it is very factual you may agree or you may not of course.

Chrissie

Your Gran may have used to say to you 'if you havent got anything nice to say then dont say anything at all' , so if that was the rule, how on earth could anyone find anything to say about SADM and SJ.
Thanks for your wishes about me having a nice life and yes, my life is wonderful and rearding in all means. Work hard, play hard and get the rewards.
Have taken it on the chin and made me smile yet again
Still say long live facts.

If you consider facts to be so horrible, I am so sorry, but there are many like that so you will never be alone.

If you do wish to pick up on spelling, keyboard errors, etc., may I bring your attetion to:
"how excited" should read How excited, "Wont" should read won't, and "thats" should read that's, unless you know different?

Did you mean "attention"?  I can't find "attetion" in my dictionary.
Sorry, but I couldn't resist that, in spite of my pleas to be nice to each other!  Put it down to the bottle of vino which John and I are sharing!

I am totally with you FIN

I very rarely post a comment anymore - because if you are not in the little clique that is going on on this forum and you make any sort of negative comment, you just get sarcastic remarks thrown back at you
