Hi all
I will be gong to check out progress in a couple of weeks, Hoping to be able to get on to site and have a good look round. We will be stopping on phase one in a property the same as we are buying, I also hope to be able to call in the sales office to try and find out when we are due to complete. If you have any requests our questions I will try and find out when I am over.

Got back yesterday from Spain. Will post some updated photos of phase 2 when I am fully awake. I have been informed by my solicitor / Taray that completion will be this summer for building work and LFO a few months after. The site is certainly very busy with a difference from the photos posted 2 weeks ago. The pool has been hollowed out and surrounding road works continue. I dont suppose the pool and external areas can be done until the heavy machinery are moved away. From what I could see from behind the fence a lot of activity was going on. The garden dividing walls are being built and it looks like the gardens will be very small compared to the gardens on phase 1, I think a lot of owners will be disapointed. I was told the gated car parks will have remote control gates on them.(this is to keep out the hot, sweaty residents on phase 1 who dont have a pool. lol)
The phase is going really well so why do I think I am still be lied to by Taray? Is 4 months enough time to complete the build, public gardens and waterproof and built a pool? Will the LFO actually be granted 2 months after completion? ( in their dreams if phase 1 takes about 10-12 months for LFO)
We all know the 'Ground Force Team' can perform miracles in a few days but I still think Taray are being optimistic in their time schedule. But as their timing fits in with most contract dates, Taray cant be honest with the dates as they would be in breach of contract with all the buyers.
Out of interest, has anyone heard of people succesfully executing their bank guarntees on phase 1 due to LFO not yet being granted? A lot of the properties had untouched gardens and looked like they had not been lived in yet.

Speaking as one of the "hot, sweaty residents on phase 1" who, it is apparently intended, will be kept out by your remote control gates, I am glad that at least I have a nice, big, shady private garden to relax in, with more than enough space for my own personal jacuzzi or pool.
So hopefully no need to bother you then if and when your pool gets built.
Best of luck with Taray.
LOL

Don't hold your breath Mr CBrammeld, we have been in our home for two years on phase 1 and all that time Taray has been promising that our pool will be built.
When the Euro was at 1.50 to the pound and property was selling like hot cakes Taray was not meeting their obligations on pool building so I would not get too excited with Taray promising completion of the site now the exchange rate is some 1.08.
Like the Wrights, I will keep on eye on your pool progress whilst sitting in my large shady garden thinking of the money I have saved by buying early with the excellant exchange rate I received.

Hi Cbrammeld
Thanks for the info and the pictures.
My husband and I are remaining optimistic at this point and hopefully we will be living the dream in a few months time, if it is a little late then lets just say all good things are worth waiting for.
I believe that Taray will try and get the properties ready on time because of sales being low they will be desperate to complete to receive all our balances
Looking forward to having you as a neighbour in the near future

Hi All
I have posted the photos we have just received from Parador Properties. They also advised that Taray expect to deliver all the phase 2 properties on time as per the contracts.
We're happy to see the townhouses now appear to be the anticipated cream colour and not orange and yellow !
Hope this news is good for everyone.
Regards
Carol

Great photos Carol, useful to have them numbered so that you can pick out your own property, we are plot 13 so it looks like one of the next to be painted, we are over at the end of April so will see more changes and post the photos on our return.

Yes I can confirm that the town houses have been painted the same colour as the quads on phase 1. Not sure what all the orange & yellow was about.....maybe some people complained??

I spoke with Taray today and they confirmed phase2 will be ready in June. Whats the chance Gordon Brown gets it right for once and turns the economy around and the exchange rate increases by the summer?

I remember exchanging at 1.50 also. I also remember telling the guy at currencies direct he better not be ripping me off as that point I had no idea what was a good or bad deal! He laughed down the phone and said you will never get a higher rate and I should exchange now! thank goodness i listened!!
Hopefully it will start getting better for the summer but as Steve and Anita say.... No chance! My fingers, legs and butt cheeks are firmly crossed tho!
The townhouses look nice cream and thank goodness they are starting to rebuild the school path along side phase2 so its not so dangerous for the walkers.
The footpaths are being tiled and the area opposite phase 2 is moving along BUT If its ready by June i will be gobsmacked!!! But fingers crossed!.... and butt cheeks of course!
