We are out again at end of October and just wondered if anyone had any beach recommendations. We went to Mazarron to the little cove which was very shallow , great for the children. We also went to another beach there further along towards the toll road which which wasn't great, very busy and sand seemed to be only a couple of inches deep!
Any ideas?

Hi Chrissurf
As you enter Puerto de Mazarron, instead of veering to the right into town, take a left and follow the road skirting around the back of the Puerto. You will eventually come to the beach with MILES of sand stretching forever both north and south. Some nice restaurants towards Isla Plana too. Enjoy.

take the right towards aquilles at roundabout where you normally turn left towards mazarron.it runs along parallel to the motorway, coast side.take first left canada or next left but remember to turn right up the dirt track where the forestry sign is 100 meteres before the beach.you will come to a great cove with a restaurant and facilities.only spanish there.beautiful.
