just got back from condado.golf course coming along.4 practise holes available from january.course should be open in august.dont forget to collect your voucher book once you have completed.a golf voucher is enclosed which gives a free round for 2 people to be taken within 3 months.el valle is worth a visit.
if anyone is looking to rent an apartement whilst they complete please ask me for availability.

Hi Everyone,
Please allow me to be pro-active (some may say blatantly rude), if anyone is completing between November and January and are not golfers can we come to some arrangements regarding use of golf vouchers included in welcome pack.
I will be at my apt in Jardines for 7 weeks during Feb and March 2009 and will be accompanied by visitors coming and going during this period who will all be looking to play golf. Anyone interested in "doing a deal" please pm me.

We didn't get anything either but I went to the portacabin and asked for my welcome pack and she gave me a book of vouchers for the other resorts to be used in 3 months. We also filled in our membership cards but not sure what we get with them - discount somewhere I think. Anyone know?

The golf vouchers are in the voucher book you mention - they are for any of the Polaris courses. Suzy - you have to go to the completions office and ask for it.

The Polaris membership cards give you discounts in the bars and restaurants. To see the latest details you need to go into the owners access on the polaris world website.
Generally you get 10% off in the bars and restaurants. When we were in La Torre at Easter they had an offer on where you got 25% off in the restaurants on Mondays and Wednesdays so it is definately worth having one.
We did find that they took the offers off in the busy summer months July - September. Don't know if they are back on yet.

We downloaded the application form on the owners access part of the Polaris website filled it in and they sent the cards out to our home address after a few weeks

Ted - I'm going out to Condado myself today so I'll try it in the bar and see what happens.
Tan - Polaris sent us a letter with our login and password about a year ago - if you haven't had one I'm sure you will be able to request one.
You don't need to have completed to get one of these cards. We got ours shortly after we made the first payment. I think each apartment are allowed 2 cards.

I have just been on the members site of polaris world and nothing really happens on it but I found this how to apply for a club card :

| HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER |

The only requirement for becoming a Polaris World Club member is being a property owner in one of our resorts.
Follow these simple instructions:
- Fill in the form available at reception in La Torre Golf Resort or Mar Menor Golf Resort. When you have filled in the details required, leave the form at the reception desk in the Social Club. Approximately a week later you will be able to collect your card.
- Or, print off the application form available on this page, fill it in and send it to us by post to:
Club Polaris - Edificio 1
Parque Empresarial Polaris World
Autovía Murcia – San Javier, Km 18
30591 Balsicas – Murcia (Spain)
You should receive your card at your permanent residence within approximately two weeks.
As a Polaris World homeowner you are also entitled to apply for an extra card for a co-holder of your choice, allowing you to share the benefits of being a Polaris World Club member. Just follow the same.

Unfortunately it won't download the application form ??!! typical!
Anyway if you are going out in the next month or so I think it will be better to apply for when you are there. As the card takes more than 2 weeks.
