Hello everyone,

We have been home a week now after a wonderful week in Spain and would just like to Say a BIG THANKYOU to Pete for taking on the role of El Presidente.

Joe & I are both impressed by the efforts he and Linda are making on our behalf to improve Block 9.

If you have not already received his news letter send him a pm to request a copy.

It is vital if we want our block to be kept clean and secure that we all pay our community charges asap and keep payments up to date.  Pete & Linda explained where the money was going & what needs to be done with it.  First and foremost sorting out the security of the building by getting the front door fixed.

I know we still have many issues with the builders, but if we don't want our block turning into a slum we cannot hold back payment into the community fund whilst the place deteriorates.

Pete explained that our fund goes into a secure account and can only be used for authorised works and if it becomes necessary any surplus can be used to take legal action against the builder to get the last of the problems ironed out.

We were reticent about making payments but after our chat with Pete & Linda I have now sent the overdue payment and set up a direct debit for future quarters.

I am going over again for a week in November & Joe & I will spend a fortnight over Christmas.  If any of you are there then call in 3B the cava is always on ice.

Thanks Kath and Joe, it was good to meet with you earlier this month, and we will be over at Christmas and we will catch up with you and the cold Cava!!
Today we heard back from Victor, the meeting with Travensa did not go well as they failed to show up, but he continues to pursue them on our behalf as they are responsible for community charges on 15 of the apartments and their bill will only grow with time.
Victor notified us that more people have started paying their community fees.
We will be sending our second newsletter out this week, so will send you a copy via email.
Victor also informed us that the electricity meters were being fitted today, hopefully that has gone smoothly.
I have just contacted Graham and no, it has not gone smoothly!!  His electric was turned off at 9am and still not connected, will keep you posted on what is happening.
Regards
Linda and Pete
