christmas visit

Hi all on Veranda,

                                I know some of you are planning on visiting over the christmas period, same as ourselves, does anybody know if the supermarket is open on christmas eve, we don`t arrive untill late on the 23rd and as the spanish celebrate christmas eve more than christmas day then there is a possability that it may be closed, could anybody please advise, also if there is anybody going out between now and then , maybe you could find out and let us know.

Last year the Consum closed as normal on Christmas Eve & they only close on Christmas day so should be open again on the Friday.
