KEEPING IN TOUCH

Hi Golf Suites folks - just keeping in touch - last I heard from PW Cust.Services they are still saying that Golf Suites will be started in "couple of months time" (Jan'09 ????) - when you read all the great news from other Condado blogs/sites it only make us more excited to think that we will be part of the main scene sometime next year (hopefully) - can't wait for someone to add a post saying that they have actually seen some progress work happening on "our" little site, or even add some photos to prove it - at least we still have time for the pound/euro to get better - keep in touch - c ya

Yes I know what you mean watching all the excitement in the other forums. I wish they would hurry up & start & then hopefully work 24 hr days like someone reported they are doing on the Foro. As for the exchange rate, I secured 1.1850 for my 2nd payment due early December. Not bad in the circumstances. I used Halo Financial services as recommended by Scapa on the main forum. Bloke there said they predict 1.05 to 1.10 early next year then picking up slightly after that but not going above 1.20 for a long time yet. But anything can happen so heres hoping. Chin up

Hi all

Just to let you know, I spoke to Suzi at Polaris Customer Service today & she told me that Polaris are still waiting for the Building License from Town Hall re the Golf Suites & as soon as they receive it work will commence. As for completion dates, she said late 2009. But she did say that Golf Suites have been very popular & will be started as soon as the license arrives.

Hi Don - with all the recession impacting Spain (and everywhere else) you would have thought that the local Town Hall would be "falling over themselves" to issue any necessary licenses to keep the construction industry working - I'm sure that Polaris still have a master plan and when they WANT the licenec they will male sure that they get it (I hope) - can we agree to say "late summer" '09 for completion then I'll feel much better - c ya
