Friday Frolic 21st Nov

Hi All

I would just like to thank everybody for turning up for this weeks F/F, we had 12 turn up for a round of golf, so we had 3 four balls. This was our first competitve F/F, we all put in 5 euros for the 4 prizes. All result will be in next weeks Sierra golfs news letter.

There was another first we had our first Lady golfer Janis Jones join us today, well done Janis and welcome to Sierra Golf Society Hope you can join us soon. Janis is a very competitive golfer playing off 15 h/cap.

If anybody wants to join us we are playing on Sunday about 10.30 please join us.

Friday Frolic 27th Nov

This week we had a team event, we had 3 teams of 3, all players had to nominate 3 holes of the 9 which they could score double points and the team with the highest score won.

The winning team came in with 46 points. (splitting the winnings)

There was also a keen golfer who got a birdie and he also won some prize money, which was a rollover from last week. aka The Bandit. (you know who you are)

Once again Thanks to all those who turned up. It was great at the 19th hole.

All the winners and bandit will be revealed in this weeks S/G news letter.

I will put your name down. We will be at the golf shop just before 1 o/c , we know Alan can't be there until after 2.15ish but for those who turn early we can get them out.
