hi all i have just sent a e-mail to customer services at masa asking them to complete the green areas and the rounderbout near the sales office i have explained to them its a eyesore so maybe if some others send e-mails to them maybe we will get them completed  ..i have told them its also in their interest to finish them as it may help them sell more houses on sierra golf..........................dennis

Hi Den Sue, I can't see why they would want to complete the golf course or the appearance of the road or the shops etc etc to encourage more people to buy houses on Sierra Golf, when most of their houses are already sold and have been for years.  Why are they not releasing houses, why do they not want the money, why should they do anything to promote the estate when there is obvious SOME MAJOR PROBLEM WITH SIERRA GOLF that Masa are not telling about.  Something is seriously wrong or they would sign over the houses get the people in, open the shops, finish the golf course etc etc.

Don't believe what is happening on Sierra Golf.

Hi all feel sorry for everyone on there we are going to put ours up for sale have had enough spoke to Masa about our pool in underbuild for the 3rd time no response on fixing anything e were told our fault man left manhole open although i cant see how that lets water in anyone help on that one and everything that went wrong was our fault any buyers out there thought not. but on a serious point dont want to leave all you lovely people but i really have lost interest in it know so am serious about selling

Sorry to hear your problems, you may be serious about selling, but houses just aren´t selling at the moment, which is why I think Masa aren´t building any more at the moment. The economic crisis has hit Spain hard, shops are closing, people are losing their jobs & Brits aren´t buying abroad in the numbers that they were. Try to stay positive things can only get better !

hi Kath and Bob are you on there now or are you just buying thanks for the positive bit but it is so heartbreaking when you put all your dreams into something and it all goes wrong. could have bought cheap tiles and cheap grills but thought no this is going to be our home one day so want it as nice as possible and then all this happens. it is not what happened that was  so bad it is the way we are treated that i do not like. feel like masa are laughing at us

Getting almost distressed, reading the contents of this thread, so I feel that I must try to make a contribution. We completed on the Albatros, in January, and despite a 'little'flooding problem, one or two cracks here and there, I wouldn't change it for the world. OK, the roundabout ain't full of flowers, the way in not like you would expect in the good, ole, US of A, and our Golf Course is only 9 holes long (just like Mar Menor, you know, the Polaris World ) course, where villas are £250k plus, and you can get an apartment for the price of an Albatros, if your lucky!! But, we like it, we like the area, we are blessed with lovely neighbours, and have made a lot of friends on site, the course is as good as, if not better than, Le Torre (65 euros/round) or Mar Menor (30 euros/round), and you can slice a ball as far right as you like providing you can swim,  or as far left, if you play ' backwards. (L.O.L. sorry, left-handed!!) and not get into a villa or apartment garden (I use the word 'garden very loosely).

As Kathy & Bob say, things can only get better.  I returned 2 weeks ago, after a week with 4 golfing mates, they loved, the place, and the area, and they were only visiting. The whole world s going through a financial turmoil,
 so it is not a sellng market.  As Kathy & Bob say, try to stay positive, things not only can get better, they will!

I agree with the sentiment of your thread entirely! Further more we can improve the site to enhance our experience by keeping it tidy.  We live on the outer road and Ron and I,  Jackie and Steve, Neil and John and Les and Audrey have already done what some others have and weeded and gravelled around the trees outside our houses and sweep the area outside our houses.  If we all do a little bit to make this site attractive it will have knock on effects:- 
++More attractive to buyers which means a more vibrant community eventually .
++This in turn will encourage traders to make the investment here making it more attractive to buyers and renters.
++More facilities will make it comfortable for residents.

Lets make and keep a community to be proud of.

HI JUNE I AGREE WITH EVERY THING YOU ARE SAYIING . BUT WE SHOULD STILL BE ON MASSAS BACK FOR ALL M11. IF YOU HAVE A CAR YOU ARE FINE UP THERE WITHOUT ONE YOU ARE STUCK' I WOULD COME OUT ON MY OWN BUT  I  WOULD BE JUST A  NIGHTMARE WITH OUT A CAR . WE ALSO HAD MORE THEN A  FEW SMALL LEAKS  WE FIXED THEM OUR SELF , THAT IS FINE IF YOU CAN   SO WE ALL CAN AT LEAST KEEP E MAILING MASSA AFTER ALL THEY HAVE STILL GOT A LOT OF PEOPLES MONEY THINK OF BYRO WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE  THEY HAD THAT IS JUST PURE  WE DO NOT CARE     IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT WE PAID WE SHOULD STILL GET A AFTER CARE SERVICE       

Hi all

Just posted photos of the villa they wanted us to sign for, so as you can appreciate the outside area is the least of our worries we have more water in our villa than on that golf course.

hi byro can not believe there still trying to get people to sign with villas in that state 14 months ago ours  had a indoor pool massa said they did not know were water was coming from what is there excusse now?

hi byro phil here do you need any bread for the ducks but jokeing aside ive just seen the pics cracking photography did you go in our villa because weve got the same pictures but our tile cracks were in fridge space the white fungus on stone work is only salt comeing out its nothing to worry about a little brick acid will shift it but it should have been done before you got there water  gardens are much sort after in japan but not too popular in spain but this too is curable there shoudnt be any riseing damp its standing water that got sucked up the plaster again once the ingress is stopped this too will dry it may take a while due to method of construction because tiles are laid on a bed of pea gravel whitch does retain moisture for quite a while it looks like the conduit box at side of villa is not high enough and it needs sealing but masa know this because it was me who showed clown prince migele and his pet engeneer how to stop it the water round the light will be bad grouting on terrace i recomend a glass up lighter in this area and small tropical fish you can get some called neons they dont give off much light but the ducks will love them look dont dispair we thought it was the end of our dream ( nightmare ) but its ok now dont let the b*****ds grind you down if you still want it make them sort it or try moveing plots our solicitor threatend them with an embargo so they coudnt sell or move any one in till it was fixed took 3 days to sort it cost 100 euros i wonder if he took it off it would explain why nothings happening  hope to see you when you do sign its only money after all phil
