join the MAG --MURCIA ACTION GROUP-------

Hi Guys

I thought I would give it  a name as it has certainly got momentum. I was pm d by another member and he thought we could have a serious group if we got x number of members, well we have x plus 50% so far. Every day I go to my emails and  hey ho more support. THANK YOU ALL

I intend to be in Murcia on the 15th January and I WILL report back to you all if we have what we want -- building progress---  IF ANY OTHERS ARE GOING OVER IN January let me know and we can arrange a meeting even a demonstartion out side the council offices or Gt  head office and have all the local press ie LA VERDAD LA OPINIONALL GEARED FOR NEWS STORIES AND REPORTS -- SPANISH PEOPLE CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO SCAM OTHER MEMBERS OF THE EU COMMUNITY-- IS THIS AN ANGLE OF ATTACK? They must be subject to European law at some stage.

IF YOU WANT ON THE ROLLING BANDWAGON PM ME YOUR SUPPORT-- GIVE US  YOUR IDEAS AND HELP US ALL TO RECLAIM OUR LOSSES.;

Hi guys for what my opinion is worth i say fair play to murcia bhoy for having the guts and intelligence to make a stand and i really really HOPE that everyone who has bought on this horrid project will climb aboard. I feel deadly serious about this and i hope others do we have stood idly by while we have been ripped off, taken for mugs while GT are driving about in flash cars and getting a regular salary from our hard earned cash and in some cases i have heard of some people investing all there life savings and in my case money i received through the death of my father and only brother at 3 months old i thought i would be doing them proud by making something of it. So lets stand up and try to take control of this in whatever way we can lets unite and fight tooth and nail at the minute we have nothing to lose as the longer we sit foolishly and wait for gt to get some morals we have already lost. PLEASE PLEASE GET BEHIND THIS ACTION WE NEED EVERYONE.

We booked our plot on T H in April 2006 and have been stuggling along on our own ever since visiting the site and seeing various staff who seem to leave on a regular basis and feeling pretty much alone in this. I was looking on the net about 6 weeks ago and found this site. I have felt at last that I have found out more of the situation from reading this forum and would like to come on board with you all.

I would like to know what the January 15th date means as the only information I have gathered is from this excellent forum.

We were in Spain 2 weeks ago and went upto the site to see Jane who was very encouraging and helpfull we chose our materials and came away thinking all was well but reading the recent theads I now wonder what is really happening.

We have a small house on The Real Club de Campoamor about 40minutes away from the site so we have been able to visit and pop up to the site quite often. If any one is deperate to visit TH and needs some where to stay we would be willing to let it out at just cost of services if its not booked at the time.If this would be of any help to people who have invested their money and find that its become difficult for them.

Keep up the good work and let us know if we can help in any way as we may be going over again in January no date booked as yet.

Came home tonight and three more members of MAG ----MURCIA ACTION GROUP ------  We will have a meeting in Murcia in january -------  We may need to rent out one of Antonios plush conference rooms  as the GT board room will not be large enough. I am over from the second so I can seek out a venue. If any of you have used independant spanish solicitors in Murcia let me know please so I can cross them off my list of ABOGADOS---they are obviously as useless as mine as mine said OK PAY THE MONEY...AFTER CHECKING EVERYTHING OUT WITH THE TOWN HALL.. OH AND TAKING 500 QUID AS WELL..

It would also be useful to know which solicitors were recommended by GT so that we can avoid them --

The above link is ref to a judges ruling in Murcia with regard to the councils exposure to damages. I think it should give us hope.

Hi how do we join.

It is the last Friday of the month tomorrow, the supposed day of the monthly council meetings. Does anyone know if there is going to be a meeting and a vote or any discussion whatsoever on the development.

We will also be very interested in joining the action group if there is no movement forward with the development in the very near future. But hopefully it won't be needed.

you simply send me your email address by private message and  I will send details of the meetings in Murcia in January and the outcome of said meetings.

To be fair  we have good support and the more the merrier as it will make it less expensive for everyone and apply more pressure to the Mayor , the council , and Gt  as we can have a substanial war chest to get what we want . ie the building progress or the damages from those responsible. Considering what we have invested what our contribution here will be peanuts for each of us whilst substantial together. So to those of you out there not joined I will make another plea.

We have a menber who pledged his support and thought that x amount of people would be enough to gather a substantial war chest.  in comparison to what we paid it is---.buttons. Well we have x PLUS OVER 100% of members pledging support so we can reduce the contribution by 2 or multiply the war chest by the same factor.

SO DO NOT BE SHY

WE INTEND SEEK OUT AND APPOINT AN ABOGADO IN JANUARY. PRIOR TO THIS WE WILL INFORM EVERYONE WHAT THE PROJECTED COSTS AND STRUCTURE OF THESE COSTs WILL BE.

THERE ARE 5 PEOPLE IN THE  GROUP GOING TO MURCIA IN JANUARY AND WE WILL MEET AND FORMULATE A PROPOSAL TO BRING TO THE GROUP

WE WILL HAVE A LOT OF  POWER BY POOLING OUR RESOURCES AND SEE ING THIS THROUGH.

How many has joined the group?

I for one would be very interested in any type of joint legal action in a bid to try to get our money back. I think it is a great idea and should be fully supported by anyone who has bought from this company. I have looked at this website for the past two years trying to pick the positives out of the situation - in this current economic climate I see none.  I would also like to thank all those who have contributed to this website as it has been one of the reasons that I have been able to keep up to date with these sahmbolic goings on.

How would we go about organinsing said action group. I for one will never trust another spanish solicitor, would it be possible to appoint an English one speciaising in Spanish law.

meetings are arranged in spain both in alicante and south of alicante to devise a strategy  and thrash out a deal which will be reported back to the group.

I have compiled a list now of those members who have indicated their support for the group although some people have not issued me with an e mail address as yet

tomorrow I will send a message via email to the whole group giving each others email address and name as it appears on the web site here.That is all the information I will give out and you guys can feel free to contact each other by email.

I will also give out my mobile number which will be operative in Spain and details of the meetings already set up with lawyers in spain.

If you guys can email me with your dates and areas when you will be in spain (if you have not already done so ) thenI will try to arrange a get together for us all.

Also those of you who are in spain will be welcome to come to the meetings with the lawyers to discuss strategy ,costs, conditions etc. Details of times and locations will be included in my email.
