Hiya All
Happy New Year
I'm booking flights for February to do some skiing in the Sierra Nevada
The cheapest flights for me are at this time are from Alicante
I'm used to getting to Condado from San Javier but am a little nervous from Alicante as the last time I drove from Alicante I got lost and missed ny snagging appointment
Some written instructions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Graham

Hiya,
From the airport follow signs for Murcia, then at Murcia follow the signs for Almeria and Alhama de Murcia. At Alhama de Murcia follow the sign for Mazarron and then take the Condado exit.
It's very easy, and should take you just over an hour.
Hope this helps, good luck and happy new year.
George

Hi Graham
Happy New Year!
Have done the journey from both Murcia and Alicante a few times. The drive from Alicante is slightly longer, but easier in terms of following directions.
As George says, follow the signs below and you shouldn't get lost. It is dual carriageway the whole way and toll free. The only potentially tricky bit is taking the correct exit when the motorway goes through Murcia city. Its the one a few kilometres after passing the big shopping centre where the Real Murcia football ground / IKEA etc are. I think there is a big yellow sign at the right hand side of the road for Alcantarilla, and it also has Arabic writing on it. Just follow the signs for A7 / E15 i.e Almeria.
Regards
Michael

Hi,
Done the trip from Alicante in Dec and it is fairly straightforward but boring trip. It is all dual carriageway as posted and folow the A7 to Almeria when passing Murcia. Turn off A7 at Junction 602 which takes you to RM2 then turn onto RM23 and follow signs to Condado. As suggested should take about 60 - 70 mins.
