Hello everyone
I just wanted to advise that I have been at Hacienda this morning - to check how things were after a terrific storm last night.
Without a doubt - several store rooms must have water in them, particularly the ones on the exterior walls of the short end of Pebble Beach block.
I spoke to Pepe who is currently the maintenance guy employed by the community until InterCala have got all services fully restored.
He showed me - in some open store rooms - that the rain is actually coming in from the outside wall - which had never been waterproofed by the builder.
I cannot stress enough - how important it is that you get someone to check your store rooms, and add any damage caused to the defect list you should have received from InterCala.
Evemarina had agreed with InterCala some weeks ago - to return & deal with all outstanding problems.
As InterCala are still receiving some reports - they have not yet set up the meeting with Evemarina, but will be doing so in the very near future.
Once the defect lists are presented - any future problem not reported will have to be dealt with by the owner direct to Evemarina - so get sending them in right now.
Regarding the community ( not individual apartments) issues still pending - after recent rains - the exterior of the complex is looking even worse than it was before.
I would advise all of you to mail the following about these things - something needs to be done before things get any worse.
Evemarina - atencionalcliente@grupoevemarina.com]
InterCala - lazara@intercala.com or alison@intercala.com
The community -
A 2 bedroom apartment in the complex was recently sold at a very, very low price.
The state of the community at the moment is really bad news for everyone - whether you are hoping to sell, or generate income from either long or short holiday lets.
Sorry to be the bearer of grim news - I just think that everyone has got to put some pressure on now .
Kind Regards
Jean
