Don't think it's too far off and I noticed the other day on the Hacienda Riquelme link provided by TedH that the installation charge there to use the PW system is €344 which is pretty good as it's a one-off fee and allows you to simply plug in and go.......

Was told last week they were still waiting for some parts but they should know better in a couple of weeks.  The cost on Condado is 400 euros one off fee

There's another point for the meeting - if there is a gazillion more of us than on HR  then why on earth are we paying more than HR????

Hi, new to this forum so Hi! We have a 3bed apt in jardin 3.  Its probably been discussed, but what kind of, and how many, channels do you get? do you need any other equipment - other than tv obviously!!

Welcome to the forum are you in Jardine 3 Los Naranjos or Jardines?

When I was out there last week Christina in the property office at Condado gave me a list of the Chanels you will get when it is up and running.  Unfortunately I have left the list at my apartment but there were about a dozen chanels from what I can remember, BBC 1, 2 ITV 1, 2, Chanel 4, 5, news chanels and some other chanels I can't remember.  I am going back out next week and will try and remember to bring the list home with me and I will get a further update on time scales etc

So we can definitely get Channel 4 then? If i cant watch the Cheltenham festival in March when I'm out I will die!!

may be a stupid question but here goes

can you tke a TV purchased in the UK to Spain and use an adaptor.  An adaptor that you would use so you could use your 240v hairdryer or a mobile phone charger?

Are there TV's you can purchase in spain that are 22" HD ready c/w dvd, and ipod charger for approx £299..

CAn't answer the first bit but as for buying a TV you could try carre four - if you look at there website they have details and prices of all different ones.  We bought a 32" flat screen for £299 euros last week on special offer so you might be lucky and get what you want.

Hi dean checked out the specs recently and all modern tv's seemed to be the same , I wouuld look at pixmania uk and then pixmania es there didn't seem to be any difference ( possibly apart from the plug) - oh and the price!!!
