Hi Rob,
Thanks for the photos. It will be lovely to have somewhere to go to, that you can walk to. We are out again on 16th March for 2 weeks and look forward checking out the new bar. Will Alan be providing food?

Hi Guys
We our your neighbours Jon and Tracey from up the road in La Tercia village.(La nueva Tercia) we have owned a property there for the past 2.5 years or so.
We have been looking at this forum for a while now but have never posted ourselves, so i hope you don't mind?
Sierra Golf seems to be progressing well and there seems to be a good community spirit amoung you all.
I think the area of Spain we have chosen to buy a home/holiday home is terific and all the infrastructure will follow in time. We'll just have to tough it out for a year or so until the global economy picks up.
Have any of you tried the Train from Balsicas to Murcia or Cartajena, they are a very cheap and easy way to travel and more reliable than the trains back in the uk.
If there is anything you would like to ask us, we would be only to pleased to help if we can?
Speak soon Jon and Tracey
PS
Did you see Wales play rugby yesterday, Quality, can't wait for saturday

Hi Jon and Tracey, how could you not be Welsh with a sign in of pontlliw !! Welcome to to SG, everyone is very friendly and we like to share information and help each other whenever we can, so your offer is welcome, thanks.
I've just found another family from Wales on SG as well, so I won't feel so alone when shouting for the boys on Saturday !! I thought the Ireland match was entertaining but Wales lifted my spirits - great start to the season but also good to see Scotland come back in the 2nd half (sorry to bore non-ruugbyers).
Rob, you're a star as usual, your pics are great and it's lovely to see so much going on even without Masa. Keep up the good work! x

Hi Jane
Thanks for the warm welcome.
We have had a pm from a couple on SG already, it may be the same couple you mention,
They are from the same neck of the welsh woods as us (Swansea)
We are next out on the 10th March, so we will pop down to SG and maybe have a beer in your new bar.
Speak soon
Jon and Tracey

Hi Jon and Tracey - Swansea's great - I have to say that as my best friend supports the swans and follows them everywhere, even has a swan on the dashboard of his car. The couple I know aren't from Swansea, so we've got a growing throng from Wales.
Hi Kevin, good to have you on board, where are you on SG? We seem to be multiplying by the day - have to arrange a 6 nations meet at the 19th hole when we're all on site - if we can't win we can sing (well I can't but I'm sure the rest of you can).

Hi Guys
Well Wales did it again, Didn't play as well as we could have but did enough to win.
I think we missed the creative spark of shane williams and Gavin Henson, they should both be Fit for the french game.
England came to stop the Welsh go foward and did it really well and actually outscored us by 2 tries to one, but their ill discipline let them down again.
The Ireland-England game should be a cracker in Dublin.
I think Wales will have too much for the French as they wern't that convincing in their victory at home to Scotland, but you never know with the french?
Also well done to the Swans they murdered Fulham, and gave them a football lesson, but just couldn't get that vital second goal, they have a great incentive to win the replay as they have been drawn at home to Man Utd in the next round.
Have any of you sports fans been up to the Condomina Stadium in Murcia?
We went last season to see them play Osasuna in La Liga, fantastic 33,000 seater stadium, they won that game 3-1 but unfortunately still got relegated.
If you get the chance it is well worth a visit.
Speak soon.

2 bars now opening next weekend.
The one by the sales office/golf course should be opening this Friday. Just drinks at first, but food at a later date.
Also bar opening in Amber's old office on Saturday, with live music. Spoke to the Spanish owner today and by June/July hopes to have restaurant up and running.

Thanks Rosemary, that's really good news. Hope everyone on site enjoys the opening celebrations!
Pontlliw - yes it was a real nail biter on Saturday for Wales and the next matches will be very interesting. The Swans played superbly, real demonstration football, unlike Cardiff last night. I'm taking up golf.
