Any neighbours out there?

We are completing on our penthouse very soon and wondered if we have any neighbours in block 7 or close by.

We are on Block 9, so quite close to you........just the other side of the Clubhouse site.   Good luck with all the furnishing stuff.  It's hard work, but worth it all in the end.

Looks like we couldn't have better neighbours!  We haven't arranged to come out yet but, would be nice if it coincided with our neighbours and we could have a drink ot three. Really looking foward to meeting you all, you seem like a great bunch. Dreading the furnishing though!!

We furnished our place in block 11 last week and are really pleased with how everything is progressing with both our place and the resort. We're next out from 5th - 12th April so, if anyone is around, we'll try and meet up. Didn't manage much (any) socialising last week due to workload ! We shipped all our stuff over from the UK so goodness knows how those who buy over there survive a week of it !

we are out for the Easter w/e (9th~13th) with some friends & I think Ali & Simon are out too, so we should all get together one night & have a blast.  Might catch a Utd game too !! - but don't tell the girls.

Yes, the furnishing stuff is very tirring.  We did it in 2 , 3 day visits - but never stopped both times - doing over 1200km on each visit.  Going out this w/e just for a chill-out & to do a few finishing jobs.  Really looking forward to seeing the progress

Look's like it's going to be busy over Easter, we are out 3rd April - 12th so count me in for a few jars.

Nick's right, we'll be out there from 6th -13th April with all of our clan, so we'll definitely be up for a night out and meeting a few people in the flesh so to speak.  It will be good to put a few faces to names.  Like everyone else, whenever we've been over previously its been non stop shopping, and no time for socialising.  Long overdue to put that right!!

We should rename this thread who's out at Easter.

We're over 2nd-10th April with the kids so looking forward to our first "real" break! Hoping to meet a few neighbours in that time, we're in Jardin 7, block 2 which is next to the clubhouse space.

If you're still looking for ways to furnish have you thought about Ikea (if you don't mind building it yourself that is)? I paid a company called Flatpaxabia to shop for me and deliver to the apartment and I went over a few weeks ago and set everything up in a day. I was very happy with their service, they even left a plant for us and left each item in the correct room. I used Real Domestic Applicances for white goods and Polarair for air conditioning.

By the way, any Chelsea fans out there, I'm getting a bit worried as all I see is ManU fans. I did spend 2 nights in a Moscow hotel full of them in May though so if I could handle that I can handle anything !

We are on Naranjos 7, opposite end to you, cos we didn't want to be right on top of the town, lol.

Unfortunately we won't be there that week.  Our kids are grow up so we can pick and choose.  As you can see from the posts below, there are quite a few out on Los Naranjos,  but it looks as if it's mostly other gardens and the penthouses.  We can vouch for a few of these "Nutters"  but won't tell you which, cos it will spoil the fun of you finding out.  Seriously,  everyone we have met so far has been fantastic,  no matter who they support.

We are there again for a long weekend next week, 7th to 10th and probably not again till the main break end of June into July,  depending on what happens re these community meetings. 

Hopefully see you around soon, have seen lots of posts from Naranjos 7 owners, on this and other forums but haven't actually met any of them yet.

We're in Jardin 4 Los Naranjos and will be out April 1-10th with the kids (4,8,11) for the first attempt at spending quality time there instead of cleaning & furnishing etc .. really looking forward to some sunshine ... havent seen any in Ireland for about 6 months!

Just  wondering if anyone is out next week.   We are heading out to pick up our keys on the 31st and will be out there until 7th April , however staying at La Torre.

It would be great to meet up with fellow neighbours, we are in Penthouse 15.

There will be quite a few people out next week, unfortunately not me , and there are already a few perminent residents in Naranjos.  We will be near neighbours as I am just across the road in garden 1, hopefully we will meet in the future.

As an aside, why stay in La Torre, why not stay at CdA and get to meet your neighbours and get a feel for the local area?
