Indian Restaurant and Fish and Chip shop for Sucina

Hi everyone,

Today I met the owner of the Indian Restaurant, which he intends to open on the 8th of March.

The Restaurant  is situated next to Post Office,but in the road that runs up to the  Church.

The manager is a very pleasent guy and invited me to have a look round,It is a nice size and will

include air conditioning and a stage for entertainment .Full Indian Menu as well as Italian Pizzas

A takeaway service will also be provided,

Also next to the small bar in the Square the Fish and Chip shop is almost ready and is awaiting delivery

of appliances,Refrigerators,Fryers,their Manager assures me they will be providing an extensive menu also.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone on HR has been to check out the Indian Restaurant?? Open ?? Food like?? Prices??

Is the chip shop open also?. I am out at Easter and going to try I think. Mmmmmm !!

On another matter. Not able to come out for AGMs. Phase 2 on 17th March. Anyone going from Phase 2, Near Block 91??

There is a new international restaurant next to the Jaipur Palace Indian restaurant on the corner of the 3319 and the F20 balsicas/Roldon road just South from La Torre. Its called Alhambra Palace and opened last week. Went in to check the menu as we were eating at Jaipur Palace and it seats about 200 and caters for all specialising in asian ,indian, thai and grills.

If  you havent checked out the new club house at El Valle its well worth a visit, fantastic raised terrace and view all the way down to the coast nearly. Not a shed /tent or portaloo in sight.

I would recommend tyre and window insurance for hire cars, 3 euros a day but worth it. The roads around HR are attrocious at the moment and are getting worse before they will get better.

I have just spent a very good week at HR with lovely sunshine.  We went to the new Indian in Sucina on our last night and had a very nice meal at reasonable prices.  The staff were very helpfull and were fluent in Spainish and English. There was going to be live music on the Friday night and flamenco dancing on the Saturday but I am not sure if this is very week. It was a public holiday and there were several tables of local Spanish people enjoying them selves.

The restaurant is next to the Post Office, down the road where the Quicksave supermarket is.

The fish and chip shop is being fitting out but is not yet open.
