COMMUNITY CHARGES

Has anyone else received the "minutes" of the meeting which took place in December 2008 with regard to Manzana 3?

I was of the opinion that discussions regarding the payment of a community charge and appointing an administrator were, for the time being, on the back burner so to speak.  Reading this communication they are demanding that payment for this year is made by the end of March and giving a direct debit form to make it happen.

Are we being rail-roaded again?  I will be flying over to San Cayetano later this week and hope to get some feed-back then.  Reluctant to give my bank account details as they seem to take money out of your account at the drop of a hat without permission!!!

Any advice on this would be gratefully appreciated.

don't set up a direct debit but set up a standing order as only you can amend the amount and they will only receive what you want them to receive

I have also received the so called minutes of the meeting of 10th Dec but now think I must have been at a differant meeting.

I was under the impression that following a request by some of our Spanish neighbours the fees were to be paid quarterly

but the minutes state we agreed to pay on a yearly basis.

Perhaps our President was at a differant meeting also for he should be the one resolving these issues prior to any notice being sent out.
