Bins

Hi

When we were out in December it was not clear what all the colours mean on the rubbish bins.

I think I saw a previous thread on this but have unable to find oi.   My mum and dad are heading out this Wednesday - anyone out there know what all the colours mean so I can make sure they know where to dispose of what rubbish?

Blue = Paper & Cardboard

Green = Bottles and Glass

Yellow = Plastic Bottles

Silver Swing Bin - Household Waste

 Bins in Carparks and Gardens = litter only

Could never work out where to put cans though.

Do the Spanish not recycle them?

The underground system is good, all we need now is for Alhama Council to empty them instead of a private firm (Another Budget Saving) After all we will be paying the Council Tax.

Ifyou look atthe bins all the different colours have different shape openings? almost self explanitory

If they do recycycle cans it must be further down the line not at source.
