Hi All
This is my first post. I have a 3 bed in Jardines 12. Myself and my wife are seriously considering relocating to condado late summer. I am thinking of running a soccer school onsite for children. Five aside , Fun activities for all ages.Dont know if there would be an interest in this .I am a former professional footballer and my wife is a qualified childminder.I think it would benefit everyone ,parents and children .I have two young kids myself and they need to be occupied while on holidays. Will run it by polaris and see what they say as we would need to use the facilities onsite.I was over last weekend and the football pitch beside the foro looks perfect .I am from ireland and we're just fed up with the weather here.Kids stuck indoors too much.I was over last weekend and the weather was great.
Thanks Darren.

Hi Darren
Welcome to the Forum
As a retired childminder myself I know only to well how slow the six weks holidays go for the children even though Condado will be a new experience. So I hope your ideas catch on & PW allow you to use the facilities.
Has your wife got any Play Scheme qualifications ?
I have , so if you want any advise please get in touch
We are over next Tuesday night for a week but only taking hand luggage.
I can always bring a load of material re craft items & a few books for inspiration if your wife would like themthe next time we are over
Out of interest Who did you play for.
Our friend & neibour played for Walsall & then the Blues (B`ham) he played for other teams but returned recently to B`ham as an assistant manager
Best wishes in your new venture
Jan & Ham

Hiya Darren
I've got 2 kids (Boy/Girl). My son is 14 and plays a lot of football for our town. He also plays rugby for Cumbria. This would be ideal. To be honest I am struggling to find the right time to take the kids over as If I don't time it right and thers absolutely nothing to do they'll mine and Michelle's lives a misery. Your venture is a brilliant idea and I hope will be well supported.
My daughter is 11 soon and a good runner
Good luck and please keep me informed of progress
Graham

Hi Darren
As a fellow Irishman welcome to the forum! I think you have a wonderful idea and I do think you ideas could work very well for children, teens and parents alike. I wish you well. You certainly have the right idea of leaving the gloomy weather in Ireland behind for a while. We are in Jardin 11 and will be out from 15-19th April & Irish June Bank Holiday weekend.

Hi Darren
We are also in J12 and have a 16 and 9 year old son. My 9 year old plays for a local team and has already asked if he could bring his football kit with him on holiday. We are out from the 4th - 10th April and then 29th July - 15th August, so would be very interested.
Good Luck!

Hi
We have an 8 (nearly 9) year old son who plays for a local team. We are expecting him to play lots of football whilst we are out there for holidays. I think that it sounds like a great idea. Good luck!

Hi all,
Great to hear there will be loads of kids around Easter and summer. My son is 9 and we have been over about 3 times since completetion. Each time there are more and more kids that age. We are over for 3 weeks in April and then mid July til end August.
Any activities would be great, because at that age its a way of meeting others and making friends. It feels very safe there and they can have more freedom than they would at home.
The only thing is when it's not school hols don't think you will see so many kids around, apart from those living there, so don't know if it would work all year round.
Can you PM me any details like costs etc
Maybe you could do some sort of 'introductory' day so you could ask people to come along and get to know each other and find out what interest there really is. And it is quite easy to mailshot everyone with cheap flyers as the letterboxes are all next to each other, so you don't really have to walk all around the complex. Mind you, then you might not reach the renters, just the owners.
