That sounds right for a 2 bed, we got ours today at 140.94 for a three but some three beds are only 116.00....

Hi Terry and Jill,
I am curious, when you say you got your charges quote , how was this given to you ? was it by post , email , or did you have to call in somewhere to collect it or was it posted to your polaris post box, I have not received any information from polarisworld or any management company for that matter , am I doing something wrong?

I have just had a n email from RPM asking my plot number so they can tell me how much my charges are and i haven't even completed yet!!!

We've got a 2 bed on Naranjos G4 and have been advised that it'll be 115,56 EUR per month for Jan - March. Love to think there's some logic but..........

I seem to recall that when we completed last week, I had explained to me that the fees were dependant on a percentage of the Jardine size or development size. Sorry, didn't take too much notice but if it was on Jardine size, this may account for the differances.

Phil, thats more or less what we were told all those many months ago. Your percentage is detailed on your deeds- which we havent got hold of yet but will pick up at Easter. Actually this probably led to a bit of confusion in our understanding initially but it was explained to us as relating to the number of apartments in your Jardine or block . Whether thats still accurate information I'm not sure because RPM seem to have related more as Jardines 1-5 and 7-13 and so on having specific contributions.

Hi everyone,
I think the position in the jardine is also being taken into account , for example our 3 bed in jardine 4 is on the south right corner of the jardine ( the back of the apartment faces the perimeter fence the front faces the end of the apartment on the east side of the jardine) Our charge is 116,77 euro , I think Danseex in the same jardine is 140 euro .
I know it doesn't make sense but its all I can think of that would make a difference, as a matter of interest what is the position of your apartments in your Jardines? I did specify my apartment was a 3bed in the email to rpm so I dont think they could have made that mistake of quoting the charge for a two bed.
I will be out on the 27th and will collect my deed then , where do I collect it from?

Hi Ken and Fiona we are you in Los Naranjos, are you? that may be why the difference if your in Jardines!
It has nothing to do with position it done by the cuota of your property on your deeds, ours is 0.944%. so we basically pay 1/100th of the total fees of our Jardin.
Still way too much IMHO.

got my facts wrong ,I thought Danseex was on the same jardine as us but we are in the original jardines and Dan is in Naranjos, again sorry for confusing the matter, would still like to know where people in the same jardines are situated though,

I know this isn't anything to do with the community charge but this site has been visited quite a lot and we cannot post a new thread until we have made 10 posts. We were wondering whether to get the inside of our property painted (probably cream) before we furnished it and got air con. Does anyone out there happen to know a painter in the area who we could contact to give us a price.

Hi All
We have today received an email from RPM about yet again an increase in community charges we were told on the 16th March that the charge was 116.17 euros , as you can see from the email it has gone up again,. This seem to be a general email addressed to Jardine 1 owners of both 2 and 3 bedroomed apartments, has anyone else in Jardine 1 received this today, it also had no attachment as stated and it was sent to an incorrect email address.

Dear Owner:
Hereby we inform you that in the coming days will be sent the community owners fee.
Also we inform you that we keep working on the summon for the next owners meeting.
As soon as we have a date, you will receive the official summons attached with the proposed alternative budgets provided by the companies
In order to update our database, please complete this attachment form.
We remind you that the fee is every 3 months.
The amount of the share owners of the community of owners Jardines de Alhama I Golf Resort Jardín 1 is:
Ground Floor: 146, 82 ?/ Month: 440, 45/ 3 months
1º Floor: 121, 31 ?/ Month: 363, 93 ?/ 3 Months
Certainly does not give you confidence as if this company cannot get the basics right ,how can they manage budgets dealing with millions!!!!! ( I know I am perhaps being a little unkind)

We don't think that you're being unkind at all - RPM have had long enough to get their figures sorted.
The fees just seem to be going one way - up!!
Dread to think what our fees are going to be - the last update we got was early February.

I have just emailed RPM to ask for the details re the quota that these figures are calculated on. We are going to discuss this with our solicitor, when we find a new one as we had to sack our last one!! due to being overcharged. We are over in a few weeks so I will certainly not be completing any attachments (not that we have received any ) until then.I have just had an email from someone else in Jardine 1 and they have not received any emails or information from anyone, so really don't think that RPM are very organised at all.
As you say when will this stop.

I'll be surprised if you get anywhere asking for details of how the fees are calculated. I've asked twice now, once by email and once face to face and they just don't understand, or pretend not to, what you mean. Just keep saying it is according to what the architect decided.

I have received an email from the 'second' association/ gmail add.. From what I understand they have a meeting with PW/ RPm on April 6th, and intend to report back to a meeting in the bar at 11am on the 7th of April.

I have asked them for the quota figure that they have got for our apartment to see if this agrees with this % figure in our deeds. As I believe we have different figures , due to how many apartments in each Jardine. They must have that, to work out each apartment charge accordingly, as that is what the architect decided as they have stated.
