The information that George has posted is the content of an email which I have receive a copy of also, it doesn’t make much sense but it seems to be saying something about a meeting on the 6^th April about the budget???

I don’t know who the emails are coming from, I signed up to receive updates from Sergio at this yahoo email address (asocondadodealhama@yahoo.com) but then started receiving information from this gmail email address also (asociacioncondadodealhama@gmail.com) Sergio says this is nothing to do with him and someone on the forum must be passing our email addresses to them, I have only given my personal email address to a very limited number of people so I can only assume someone connected to Sergio has passed it to this other group. Other than receiving this and other information from then which is hard to make any sense off I have had no problem with this, but it would be helpful to know who and what they are??? So if anyone knows please inform us.

In working through the email again it is saying I think:

the association County of Alhama are having a meeting with Polaris world Management on the 6^th April and that President of Polaris World, José Luis D. Hernandez will be at the meeting???

It then goes on to say the association County of Alhama will be in the bar at condado on the 7^th April at 11am to inform everyone first hand of the outcome of the meeting.

So if anyone that is in Condado on the 7^th can attend and inform us all of the outcome and shed some light on this association this would be very helpful.

Thanks for trying, still none the wiser but as Leyton says, there are a lot of people over there on the 7th, that is one of the days they have been arranging to meet on, so, let's hope that some will see this invitation before they go, and go and find out what's going on. I tried translating your Spanish email on the Google translator, but though slightly different, still not plain English. 

We do not receive anything from that association, only Sergio, so not sure how they have got some emails and not others. Could be, as someone said earlier, through someone that is part of that association and was posting on here for some reason or another and had people sending for info and giving their email address.  Apparently that person was banned from this site for spamming, but don't want to mention any names because I'm not 100% sure I remember who it was.   June

I have received this e-mail also along with the others previously posted by the asociacion Condado de Alhama.

Right, the way I read things this group (of residents ?) is having a meeting with Polaris representatives on Monday 6th of April. They will then feed back to all interested parties that may be aroud on Tuesday 7th April at the cafe/bar on the Jardines. Now I remember reading posts of the original meeting with RPM of how the agenda decended into a state of chaos with very little of value being established. There was then to be a subsequent meeting scheduled which I am assuming is the one on Monday 6th. Also in attendance at this meeting I am expecting to be RPM and Sergio's group also putting their tuppence worth in.

It is quite rediculous that we have to make assumtions of this, when we have a 'resort management group' in place whose wages WE ARE PAYING as part of our community charges and we have not heard a jot from them about what is happening with negotiations on OUR resort and OUR community charges. 

Where on earth would we be without the regular postings from our Eye on Spain friends ??

I think you are right in that this group are having a meeting, but I disagree that this is THE community meeting. This is the group that wrote the complaint letter re services etc and in my mind I think that they have requested a meeting themselves to address what they see as the issues. To my knowledge Sergio is not associated with this group. I may well be wrong.

RPM are a joke but what alternatives do we have?

We are paying their wages and they won't even respond to the emails we send them if it's something they don't want to answer.

If it wasn't for eye on spain, many of us would be unaware that they were going to back date community fees, there were community rules and we would be totally oblivious to how much the community fees were going to cost.

Some feedback should've been sent out after the meeting - even if it was just that nothing had been decided. We were at that meeting and were told by the president of polaris world that the budget and community rules should've been sent out prior to the meeting.  2 months later have RPM sent these out to every buyer on Condado - or only to the ones who have asked?

There is only a very small percentage of people who know about this website and the other few thousand people probably won't have a clue what's happening.  They are going to have a big shock when they receive the email about the community fees.

It would be interesting to find out whether this is the next meeting or is it just in response to the letter this association sent about to Polaris about what is going to be built on Condado.

Phil directed me to this thread. My name is Mel Beasley and I will be standing as garden rep for Los Naranjos Jardine 8, simply because I'm the only permanent resident there. I am part of Sergio's group and no nothing about this other group but I will attend on the 7th and report back to you all on this forum.

This group is not connected to Sergio - there was a recent email where he specifically stated that he did not know them.  I believe that they are a group of 5 Spanish residents (I think) - who met up in the bar a while ago and established this "Association" - that is all I have been able to find out about them - although I also heard that one was banned from this site for Spamming.  The meeting is something they have set up, and I believe they are claiming about 140 "supporters" of their original letter.  I have not provided my email to them, as they do not appear willing to inform people who they are - that said, at least they are trying to do something - which is more than can be said for our invisible Administrators!  Hopefully things will become clearer after the 7th, and I also hope that someone from the forum will attend, to find out what was said, and also who they are and what they represent.

We will also try and attend on the 7th but have no access to computer to report back, does anyone know if the meeting on the 6th is a closed meeting with only the peeps that called it being allowed to attend or is it open to everyone? Unfortunatley we do not arrive until late on the Monday night, so can't fight our corner for everyone, sorry. Might be worth trying to gate crash on the 6th even if it is only to find out who this other group are? Any budding Miss Marples out there who would like to do some spying?

We've just had the same email sent as salsdn.

The community fees for jardin 5 are

Ground Floor: 120.45 €/month  361.35 euros/month.

First Floor: 100.71 €/month   302.13 euros/month.

Not much different to what we were told back in February.  Fees backdated for 2008 will be

Ground Floor: 32.71 euros/ month.

Has anyone from the penthouses received any notification of charges yet?
