meet up

Hi all we are over in May on the 22nd  for the weekend is anyone up for a drink?

we are over on the 21st for a week, so we will probably be up for a drink or three, hope to meet a few others also, we are in naranjos 7. hope cuz has the red carpet out

hi we are over on 24th to 1st june villa janas los naranjos were always up for a drink or several!  bringing the grandson aged 11 acting like a 20 yr old!! so hope we can find him some mates to give us some peace.  It would be nice to meet other familys.

Afraid you'll have to lay on the honours for this one.  Don't think we're out again now till June/July.  Just keep our drinks cool.  Hope you get to meet a few people,  we got back on Tuesday after a long weekend, fantastic weather BTW and we didn't see anyone apart from our usual Spanish weekender.  Went to the "Surgery"  a couple of nights and not a soul did we see.  Very depressing.  The drinks had actually gone down a bit, now only 3.50, so at least going in the right direction.  Doesn't make you feel good though when you find that La Torre and Mar Menor have happy hours, from 6.30 to 10.30??

The Foro is looking very promising.  The rendering is being finished off on the outside, and inside the pool is being dug out. Martyn managed to get in through the back door and took a couple of pics, don't know what they will look like but will ask him to post them when he gets in.

There was one Villa jana that looked occupied,  nice garden furniture,  family sitting out in the sun. Was that you Barbara?  If it was, did you get sunburnt?  You were there one day when we went out and were still there when we got back.  It was so warm on Sunday that Martyn came back with rather a red head from the Market. 

we will be there june/july and a few days in august, oh and forgot to mention will be over in september for my birthday,and a few days in october if the course opens, woo hoo!

here comes the summer

Hi Cuz, yes it was me 'Barbara' but it could have been the daughter in law you saw there all day!!!  she was looking after my disabled mother whilst I was doing the shopping for furniture thing!!!  She is the tall dark attractive young one, Im the small mousy haired middle aged one unfortunately, still Im the one nearer to retirment in the sun than she is!!

Hope the happy hour gets round to condada bar soon!!

Just got back home about an hour ago...we went out last Sunday and have been sorting out the furniture & bit etc all week and it's flown by.

We're out from 24th May for a week and would love to meet up with any new neighbours.....maybe if we throw a date in the ring we can all descend on the surgery together...it should be nice to sit out in the evening in May.

You're terrace furniture is fab btw
