Polaris Computer says "No"

Have any prospective purchasers had problems with PW cancelling the contract - even when you keep telling them you are going ahead? It has just happened to me. Letter dated 30 March has just arrived after almost a fortnight saying I have taken too long to complete even though we have been in constant contact with them explaining mortgage delays. We had agreed a date of 6 April! We now have a mortgage offer and PW allowed valuation to go ahead more than a week after they put the letter in the post. We should be able to complete soon after Easter - I suspect it is one half of PW not knowing what the other half is up to.

Would be interested to hear of any similar experiences. What a pain.

I suspect they are putting the frighteners on you but I would contact them ASAP and get then to confirm back to you in writing (email) all is OK and if not consult a solicitor for advice.

This also happened to friends of our who wanted to purchase on Hacienda.

Fortunatly it all got sorted out

Phil has the has the right idea.

Emails & letters are the best way of communication because you then have proof of your correspondence.

 Many thanks for your comments. Yes emails all duly dispatched and am trying to get hold of PW today. PW back at work, solicitors off until tomorrow.
