Hi,

I am trying to compile a list of restaurants which people have been to and could recommend (with addresses) around the Fungirola, Marbella, Peuto Banous areas. 

When we have been over at La Reserva, we have been recommended to go to the Lemon Tree in Fuengirola, but could never find it.  Could anyone explain if they know where it is? 

It's always good to try somewhere new to eat when on holiday.

The Salamanca in Fish Alley, Fuengirola is extremely good value.  Cheap and cheerful.  Food is good for the price and its a nice alternative to the fast food outlets like McDonalds and Burgerking.  A three course meal including wine for €8.00!

One of the better restaurants in Fish Alley is Aroma.  More upmarket than the rest.  Nice ambiance and food is good.

You might also try Marco Polo towards the end of the port in Puerto Banus.  Pricier than Fuengirola but a beautiful setting and the food is excellent.

The Chinese restaurant at the bottom of LRdM is very good value. My favourite in Marbella is  El Balcon de la Virgen on La Calle de Los Remedios, where you will receive a warm welcome.

Also, I can't remember the name but there is a nice restaurant/bar directly across the road from  LRdM entrance which does very nice outside buisness with the locals..

Also directly across the road is Restaurante Rancho Barbacoa 952831922.  The steaks and service there are of the highest standard.  And the wine list justifies a trip on it´s own!
